Corporate apartments beat hotel rooms easily

Over the last few years, I have witnessed the price of hotels skyrocketing.

I used to be able to book a fine oceanfront hotel room with a small family room for approximately 250 or so.

This week, a similar room is over 400 and there haven’t been any updates done or any amenities added. This room is a suite which means it’s a lot larger than the average hotel room and it comes with a second room & a separate study room. Although the rental suite is much better than the average hotel room, nothing beats renting a corporate apartment. I was 1st introduced to corporate rentals by one of my contractor customers who described these apartments as a house away from home. Of course, when compared to a hotel room, a corporate rental will be 100% better. For one, there is a lot more living space in a corporate apartment. In addition, there will be fewer people around as hotels are typically so busy with people typically checking in or out! But the best part about a corporate apartment is that it works out to be a lot less expensive than booking a hotel suite. I can rent a legitimately nice corporate apartment for $2,500 a month and if I were to rent a hotel room with the same amenities, it would cost 3 times that cost… Moreover, corporate apartments have similar amenities as a hotel room, and at times, the corporate amenities are better. Of course, hotel rooms are still needed since they are better for shorter stays. But if I had the choice, I would opt for a corporate rental over any hotel room.
