We couldn't install hydronic heating until my buddy and I changed the floor in our home

I’ve always wanted floor heating for my house, especially since my kids hate socks and indoor shoes and are always barefoot, my partner and I use a heating system as a heater, and the floors are now always too hot! When the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C repairman came to do maintenance, I asked him for a solution.

He told my friend and me to try a hydronic heating system for the condo and enjoy the radiant floors.

It seemed like a good plan; all I had to do was go to the heating company and see what they had. I was interested in the heat and air conditioning product because it seemed like the answer to my problem… At the heating store, I told them what I wanted for my condo and why. They asked me what kind of floor I had, and unfortunately, it wasn’t on the list of floors that could work with radiant floors. My friend and I couldn’t do the project as planned, but they suggested a hybrid heating system that uses both a heat pump and an oil boiler. My friend and I couldn’t keep up with heater maintenance, and changing our whole floor was a scary project to try before my friend and I fixed our comfort problems. As my friend and I waited for our floors to be changed, the hybrid system installation seemed to be the easiest thing to do. As I learned more about radiant floors, I realized that we would also need a boiler. I was worried about boiler safety and maintenance, so I decided to drop the idea. We already had two boilers to worry about, so until my friend and I were ready to do everything separately, we decided to replace the heating system and heater instead.
