I still felt like a young guy plus knew I could work circles around the young dudes I worked with.
I started pondering what I could do with my time once I retired. My partner Sam told me I could take up a hobby, or my associates and I could do some traveling. I didn’t feel traveling was a great idea because of the rising cost of fuel. I told Sam all I know is Heating plus Air Conditioning. I was in the office last week, plus I sat down to talk to the head owner of the Heating plus Air Conditioning business. I told him that I was considering retiring. As much as he hated to see me go, he said he understood I was getting tired. He said he was sixty-4, plus he noticed how he was slowing down. I wasn’t slowing down, but I noticed the aches plus pains a lot more. All the injuries I gained in the past, seemed to be revisiting me on a regular basis. I had been working as a certified Heating plus Air Conditioning specialist for close to 40 years, plus I was getting tired, but I didn’t want to be lazy. I told the boss I still had a job to get done, plus headed out of the office. A week later, Pedro, the owner of the Heating plus Air Conditioning business, called me into his office. Pedro told me he had a part time job for me. They were looking for Heating plus Air Conditioning professors, plus Pedro instantly thought of me. I knew everything about Heating plus Air Conditioning systems, plus I had a lot of patience with current specialists, since I had been an HVAC instructor for years. I asked Pedro when I started, because I was putting in my retirement notice.
