Ever since my bestie told me that she is pregnant, I have been uneasy and excited… I do not have any children yet and this will be my first one.
I am happy for my bestie and I to go through the process together, but it would be a lot easier for the two of us if we had a little bit more currency.
I talked to my boss a couple of times about a raise and a promotion. I have been working at the heating and A/C service and upgrade business for the past 2 years… My boss did not act like he was listening, so I sincerely did not guess he was going to provide me a raise or a promotion; When I got my paycheck on Thursday, I saw a raise. My pay went up $2 each hour. It made a pretty big difference on my paycheck. I instantly called my boss when I saw the raise and that’s when he told me about the promotion. I was even more happy when I heard about the promotion. I have a lot more responsibility and I will have to work slightly different hours at the Heating and A/C dealer, but the extra currency is going to be so helpful when my bestie finally has the baby, and now that I have a promotion, I might even guess about buying a ring so I can propose. I want to be able to offer my bestie something that says I am thinking about our future, especially if I expect her to say yup.
