When it came to buying things for our Heating as well as Air Conditioning system, such as Heating as well as Air Conditioning filters, I naturally leaned towards the cheaper options.
And why wouldn’t I, they all looked the same to me.
Even the HEPA air filters, which are supposed to be of good quality, didn’t look much unusual to the generic stuff I was used to buying. However, not only were the air conditioning filters I was buying awful for our oil furnace system, but they were costing myself and others more currency in the end. This entire time I thought I was saving currency, when I really wasn’t. So, I ended up switching oil furnace filters, as well as trying HEPA air filters. I chose those air filters not only because of their enjoyable quality, but because they can be washable. I’m not sure how well they work after being washed, but personally I haven’t noticed much of a difference in air quality or our air conditioning unit performance, so I guess it is okay. These are washable filters that can last a really long time. I was originally buying a bulk pack of filters as well as replacing them every 2 weeks. All I have to do is scrub the HEPA filters every now as well as then, when they get dirty. I wish I had kept count of how much currency I saved when I first started, but that was years ago, easily I guess it could be in the hundreds by now. I would command to anyone, try rewashable filters, they can save you a lot of currency. I guess some people care about the official kind, but personally, washable filters are much better.
