People overemphasize how charming it is to be “privileged” around here.
I believe.
Society guilt-trips us for having things handed to us on a silver platter, but no one mentions the fact that this can hold you back in life, too. For instance, when you get a home of your own and suddenly have no indoor air quality control system, because nobody taught you how to complete HVAC care, diagnostics, or repair services. This is what I’m dealing with, as I’m waiting for a new heating and cooling system to be installed! Growing up, I never had to learn how to do anything. A few brief days ago, I had an HVAC system. It had a smart temperature control, oil gas furnace and a powerful evaporative cooling component at my house. I never thought much about that indoor air quality control equipment. No one ever told me I truly should. HVAC breakdowns are possible? I knew that touching the temperature control would change the indoor air temperature; I thought the rest of the HVAC system would work itself out. Now, I know maintenance is needed. Unfortunately, I found this out too late. I had to learn about the challenges of energy usage and HVAC care when an HVAC repair company came out the other day. The technician looked at me like I was an idiot when I asked, “What professional repair schedule?”
