We had no choice but to wait while settling in for the heat pump repair
We had one of the most interesting summers, and I wasn’t going to forget it for quite some time. Dad had come home one evening with news that we were going away for a week. He’d been part of an important project at work, and it went quite well. As part of the reward for his excellent work, dad won a trip to the beach for him and his family. We would stay at a private beach property overlooking the ocean, which came with a butler and a private chef. That was excellent news since it would be the family vacation we haven’t had since 2020. We traveled to the location, and everything about the beach property spoke of elegance and class. I was so psyched to spend the time relaxing and taking walks along the beach when it wasn’t too hot. But, when we went into the house, we found it to be quite hot and muggy. We spoke with the butler, who informed us there was an issue with the heat pump. They had just discovered the heat pump malfunction that morning and phoned the AC business in town. Unfortunately, they were overbooked, and an AC technician would come by that evening. We had no choice but to wait while settling in for the heat pump repair. The AC technician came by at 4 pm to work on the unit and discovered a malfunctioning reverse valve causing it not to work properly. The unit was stuck between hot and cool mode, so we left the AC technician to work on it.
