My boy used to live down south. I visited his multiple times, plus every time I told his he needed to put heavy drapes up to his residing room windows. I would walk into that room, plus the sun coming through the wall of windows was blinding. Not only was the sun difficult on the esure, but it was terribly hot, even with the air conditioner running, but he seemed to be clueless to the method that the reason for his daily bills going so high was because he did not have any drapes up to those windows. With heavy drapes, the residing room would be cooler. If the residing room was cooler from the lack of solar heating, the air conditioner component would not be running as much. Instead of the air conditioner component needing to be upgraded in more than four years, with the help of drapes, he could prolong that upgradement for an extra 3, 4, or maybe more than four years. I could not believe it when he told me they could not afford to buy drapes for their residing room. That’s when I asked his how much his energy bill was the previous month. She told me but said it was only because the air-conditioning was running. I shook our head plus told his that was exactly what I was talking about. The drapes would only cost half as much as his air conditioner bills for a single month, plus he would genuinely save that much money every month. It took his multiple months to buy the drapes, plus multiple minutes to call plus tell me I was right about the daily bills plus the air conditioner unit.
