I have worked out in some odd venues before.
Anytime I go on vacation I think I am going to be exercising in a venue not normally meant for it.
I work 6 afternoons a week though, without fail. So when I am on a trip I need to improvise. I try whenever possible to get a gym, however my partner as well as I go to some obscure venues. When both of us are in a foreign country, in a small town, there aren’t many gyms to choose from. Occasionally the hotels with gyms are over 600 bucks a night. I then try to get a venue that has a yard outside that I can at least mess around in. That is not regularly possible either. I have run through major cities, crunched in small hotel rooms as well as been in some odd work out rooms. The worst was I was in a foreign country as well as the spa as well as gym were linked. They were only separated by a thin sheet of curtain. The spa had steam rooms as well as warm tubs. So to make everyone comfortable it was around 85 degrees there. The gym, only separated by a curtain, did not have an A/C plan running. I was working out in over 76 degree un-even temperatures! I was the only a single working out in the gym due to the serious heating there. I worked out in my bra as well as undies as well as stole towels from the spa. I had to mop the sweat off my body as well as hydrate every few minutes. I am amazed they didn’t get flagged as a health violation. Aren’t there set un-even temperatures gyms have to be at?
