I have constantly wanted to add heated flooring to my home.
It just sounds like a good system.
You have electric heated mats under the tile as well as it warms your floors. The heat doesn’t rise since it is an electric base. It doesn’t create warm as well as frigid spots or polluted indoor air conditions due to no air being blown. Due to this, you can lower the temperature for the heated flooring as well as save some money. Anything that is touching the floors feels warm as a result. The bed, chairs as well as couch all guess like heated seats due to this. The plan operates silently too. There is no loud clicking on as well as off that wakes you out of a dead sleep. There are no warm parts of the heating plan that can be dangerous to teenagers. As far as repair goes, heated flooring systems aren’t too bad. You should have a heating contractor check it about once a year to make sure everything is good. Why would not someone want heated flooring? The cons I have found is that it does raise as well as add weight to your new floors. Is the change in level a massive deal to you? Another con is that you need to rip up your existing floors to put down this system. There is no way to save your rug or former tile. Also, if you install the heating plan wrong, you are done for. There is no way to access the heating plan after you close it in with flooring. You would be just sort of stuck with a faulty plan until you need new floors.
