I genuinely had no intention of moving it once it was installed
When I was younger and living in house buildings, I consistently relied on window a/c units to keep the venue cool. They never did that great of a job. Not to mention, they were absolutely noisy and used a lot of electricity. I remember there were a few times when I was running the a/c so much that I blew a fuse and would lose power for a little while. The venue would get so tepid so hastily. Now, I have realized that there is a much better option when it comes to cooling a space that does not have central cooling. Portable a/c systems are far superior than the window units I’ve had. First of all, portable a/c systems are way more efficient. They are resting units, so you are able to transport and position the a/c system much more freely than the window units, even if you have yours connected to a window. They are also available with much more cooling power. Another perk is that you can roll them from a single room to another. Whenever I used a window a/c unit, it was consistently so heavy and difficult to get in the window. I genuinely had no intention of moving it once it was installed. With the portable unit, it’s easy to roll the component from a single room to another if need be. Honestly, it would have made our life so much easier if I had a portable a/c system when I was a occupant.
