It’s worth it

I had been thinking about getting a heat pump for my home.

  • The idea was to update central heating and be able to have something to heat the home in the freezing winters that will save myself and others on energy use in order to save some cash, but now the toss up between all of this is that a heat pump is undoubtedly overpriced, not to mention the cost of the installation for the heat pump! But after thinking about it and weighing the cost of what I spend on electric bills every single Wintertide is it entirely freezing verses the cost of the heat pump and the installation of the heat pump, in the long term, the heat pump will end up paying for itself.

That is how much energy use I will save by having this heat pump instead of having to use the central heating system. In the Summer for air conditioning to save cash has yet to be figured out other than buying a portable air conditioning system. But with as tepid as it gets around here, the portable air conditioning system would not be able to fight off the heat as central air conditioning could, however so I am stuck with that it seems. But the heating is taken care of by way of purchasing a geothermal heat pump. I will be calling the local heat and company to order and schedule the installation of the heat pump this coming week. I want this in my house as soon as humanly possible as all of us have some real freezing weather coming.
