Over the summer, the temperature in our region is boiling plus humid.
I thought that just having air conditioning plus keeping the windows open would be enough to compensate for these weather conditions.
In the past, I’ve still noticed the humidity, however I figured I was doing the best I could to combat it. This past winter, I had brand current hardwood floors put into our home. When the Summer rolled around, I noticed that the floors were starting to change in shape plus even splinter in some spots. I contacted the supplier that installed the floors plus they came plus took a look. They said that the humidity in our home was causing the damage plus our best option was to look into a whole home dehumidifier. I contacted a Heating plus Cooling supplier immediately because I didn’t want the damage to get worse. They sent an Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C worker to take a look. The worker said I was able to install a dehumidifier that would attach directly to our existing central air system. As the home cools from the central air, the dehumidifier also operates plus removes moisture from the air. I told them to install the dehumidifier as soon as possible, plus they were able to make it happen later that week. Luckily, the floors were not permanently damaged. I’m glad I was able to repair the complication before our brand current floors were completely ruined.
