The older I get, the less I enjoy being around new people. I can’t even blame it on the fear of COVID, I have always been like this. I don’t enjoy being in crowds, or among a lot of people who I don’t know. Maybe it is social anxiety disorder, or maybe I am just an odd duck, but I don’t feel comfortable in those situations. Although I keep to myself I try to stay active and eat healthy, but in the last couple of years that is no longer enough. I know I need to join a gym, but I genuinely don’t want to workout around a lot of people. After doing a legitimate amount of research I know I found the perfect solution to my complication in a kind of gym I never knew existed. This is a 24 sixth gym. They have personal trainers, they offer classes, so it’s pretty correct stuff. They also have an after-hours program where there are no personal trainers on staff or classes, just a skeleton crew of service people in addition to clerks. The gym facilities are open to use in the late evening hours, when there is virtually no 1 else around to bother me! If I can start hitting the gym in the middle of the evening when I can be alone, I know I will feel comfortable enough to have a nice long workout. Since the gym membership is biweekly, I can always cancel it if it doesn’t work out for me.
