This is my second winter time up here plus it sure hasn’t gotten any easier.

I don’t know what I was thinking when I moved from the south to the north. For sure, I could have turned down the promotion. But who does that? Had I not taken the promotion, I’d be resting in the A/C of my cubicle forever. You just don’t turn down promotions plus expect to get any more chances. Still, I sure could have been more prepared to face the winter time up here, when I got up here, I didn’t even have proper outerwear or even boots. There were no snow shovels or any of the sort of winter time device that I would need. Thankfully, the realtor who found my house made sure that I had a nice gas furnace. She took one look at me plus realized that I was a complete rookie when it came to winter. And boy was she right; Not only had I never experienced a winter time that required even a coat, I was completely unprepared for this sort of climate. It’s genuinely cold here plus the hot plus cold temperatures start dropping mid November. Fortunately this year, my neighbor showed me how to prepare my house in order to lower the heating costs plus deliver more comfort. I’m genuinely thrilled to have such nice neighbors because I don’t have to carry a space boiler with me wherever I go when I’m at home. But I do confess to having a space boiler under my desk at work plus that thing ain’t going somewhere.

Let’s start with the fact that there is an HOA rule that no heating plus cooling component can be seen from the street.

While seemingly irrelevant, this seems to be the heart of the problem between me plus the HOA.

I mean, what’s so bad about seeing residential Heating & Air Conditioning component next to a person’s house? I mean we all have residential Heating & Air Conditioning so it’s not like we are pretending we don’t. And since we all have easily similar versions of the same sort of heating plus cooling equipment, what has so offensive about seeing it from the street? But apparently, there is a rule plus my HOA is being super picky about enforcing this rule. This all came about because my son got a little overzealous when it came to trimming a hedge. My kid is 13 plus he isstill learning his way around turf plus garden equipment. But the only way we learn is to make mistakes plus do things we have not done before. So my kid ended up trimming the hedge of a little bit too low plus now the heating plus cooling component can be seen from the street. It didn’t take 24 hours before I had a ugly SMS sitting in my inbox. The HOA was ready to begin fining me bi-weekly until I put up a fence. I wrote back that the hedge would entirely grow back in a few months plus I wouldn’t be paying any sort of fine. So now, I have ruffled those feathers plus they are coming after me with bi-weekly threats to the point where I’m about to turn all this over to my lawyer. I’m all for rules plus regulations although I draw the line at being bullied.

It’s funny how just something so small as a single control component can make for such a giant problem… But that’s the way it was in my office for the longest time! Our supplier owned an outdated building plus we all serviced one floor… It was a pretty giant space plus there were more than 60 of us working mainly in cubicles.

Of course, that outdated building came with outdated commercial Heating & Air Conditioning plus just one control unit.

It shouldn’t be too giant a surprise that one control component setting isn’t going to please 60 some odd people. But most of us did our best to deal with this situation individually, then for instance, there were plenty of us that brought in our own space boilers during the winter, and the commercial Heating & Air Conditioning just never warmed up that space easily well, and during the summer, there were small fans on just about every desk, but still, there were folks in our office who would literally get physical when it came to the control component setting. It was like two unusual camps warring against each other when it came to the control component setting, however honestly, it was deranged that it had gotten to that point. Finally, management replaced the outdated commercial Heating & Air Conditioning with the latest in Heating & Air Conditioning equipment. But it was the Heating & Air Conditioning technology replace that honestly made the difference. Once we got zone controlled Heating & Air Conditioning in the office, it signaled the end of any more control component arguments. And I for one was honestly ecstatic to have that sort of drama out of my labor day.

Man, the last few years have entirely had me honing my skills when it comes to saving a dollar.

First, the pandemic keeps me stuck inside the central a/c of my home for a year in addition to a half.

Then, just as we’re trying to embrace the new normal, my fantastic friend and I get a fistful of inflation in our faces. Granted, it was fantastic to be back inside the commercial Heating in addition to Air Conditioning of the office in addition to receiving my full paycheck. During the pandemic, just to keep my job so I could labor from home, I had to take some spend money cuts. And it wasn’t just me, it was supplierwide. So being back inside the zone controlled Heating in addition to Air Conditioning of the office is a fantastic thing in addition to I am honestly thankful to have my normal income. But with the cost of everything going through the roof, it’s almost like I have less than I did during the pandemic. This is so frustrating for me but I continue to do all I can to save every dollar out there. If I have to go across town for specials to save twenty five dollars on our grocery bill, you know I will. But when it comes to certain things, I simply do not split corners or trying to save just for the sake of saving. That actually is true when it comes to the residential Heating in addition to Air Conditioning in our home. The heating in addition to cooling of our home is just too essential to leave to anybody however the Heating in addition to Air Conditioning professionals. So while I would care about to save money on a handyman, that’s just not something I would ever do when it comes to Heating in addition to Air Conditioning service.
