Your HVAC Troubleshooting Guys

I have to go out and buy a new thermostat this week because my old one finally tore up on me.

It’s been in the house where I’m living ever since I moved in about ten years ago.

Honestly, I can’t believe that it has lasted as long as it has! I really don’t even know how long it was here before I moved in. for all I know, that thermostat has been in the house ever since the house was built. I think that it’s probably one of the ugliest thermostat units I have ever seen, but it has definitely served its purpose over the years here. I don’t think that they make things the way that they used to, because I bet if I bought a new thermostat today it would tear up within five or six years. That’s just how things are these days. I truly believe that we are dealing with a lot of items that are seen as throwaway instead of being built to last like they used to be. I guess that kind of ages me a little bit but that’s the way it seems to be nowadays. I guess I sound like a mean old lady who is complaining about kids these days and that’s really not the best thing to do. I mean, there’s really nothing to do about it whenever the old appliances wear out other than to just go out and buy a new one. That’s the only thing to do, really. I know that Whichever thermostat I end up buying tomorrow is probably not going to last for a long time, but I don’t really have much of a choice at this point since my other one is dead!

I think that our dog loves the A/C more than he even loves me sometimes! I know that that probably sounds crazy to people who are animal lovers, but if you have a dog like mine then you know that they love the air conditioning.

The weather around here where we live gets really hot, especially during the summer. Normally, our average temperature is around 85 degrees, and our poor dog gets really hot when the weather gets to be anywhere over 70 degrees. No wonder he is hot all the time. I always give him fresh water in the shade, but sometimes the dog just seems to yearn for the air conditioning to turn on in the house. It’s so funny to see him run over to the air conditioning vent whenever he hears the thermostat kick on when he is inside of the house. The dog seems to just wait around for the A/C to turn on and it always makes my kids and I laugh whenever we see him run over and flop down on top of the air conditioning vent. His favorite air conditioning vent seems to be the one in the baseboards under the kitchen sink. That’s where you can usually find him during the summer whenever the air conditioning is running! The other night I wanted him to come and snuggle while I watched TV but he wasn’t interested. He was too busy relaxing by the kitchen A/C vent.

I’m paying extra money for my HVAC system tune up, but it’s worth it for my own peace of mind. I have been having so much trouble with the heating and cooling system in our house that anyone would have trouble having peace of mind with it! It’s one of those things that has been bugging me for a long time, but I don’t know why I never really made it a point to get the HVAC system fixed completely. I made it a point to keep the HVAC system going, but it was never in top working condition, if that makes sense. Basically, I would continue to throw what amounted to bandaids on the HVAC system without ever having a Professional HVAC technician come and treat all of the underlying causes of the issues that I was having. Well, that all stops now. I have finally decided that I’m going to pay extra money and get the HVAC system completely tuned up so I don’t have to worry about it anymore. I don’t like having this underlying fear of my air conditioning system or my heating system breaking down on me. I know that it’s gonna cost me a lot to have the entire HVAC system tuned up and checked out by a professional heating and cooling company, but I honestly think that the cost is going to be worth it in order for me to have peace of mind so I can sleep at night. I know that feeling confident and comfortable in my home is worth more than any amount of money!

I may not be the richest guy in town, but I’m really happy working as an HVAC technician.

I know that money isn’t everything. After living through several decades on the planet, I have figured out that money doesn’t always make you happy. It’s one of those things that takes you a while to learn, but wisdom comes with age sometimes and that’s what has happened to me over the years. I have been working as an HVAC technician for the past 6 years now, and I really like it. I like all of the other guys that I work with at the HVAC company and the people who own the HVAC company are great. I have really enjoyed working here just about every minute that I have been here. Whenever I got out of high school, I immediately enrolled in the technical school closest to my house. I took all of their heating and cooling classes and I graduated with my HVAC certification. I learned a whole lot while I was there, but it’s been nothing compared to everything that I have learned while I’ve been working at the HVAC company! I have met so many people over the last 6 years. I have worked on many different furnaces and air conditioning systems in our county that I have probably met just about everyone in our town! I think that’s one of the reasons that I like the job so much. I am definitely a people person, and I love meeting new people. I think that’s just one of the benefits of the job for me.
