My hubby Sam plus I were tearing out the walls in the main study room of our house. Sam and I wanted to remodel the room plus add a greater closet. When Sam and I started to rip the walls out, I was sick to see what was going on in between them. Ants had gotten into our insulation plus we could see the burrowing they were doing in the insulation. I refused to touch the insulation until Sam destroyed the fire ants. All four walls were attacking the insulation, which made me understand why our study room was so hard to heat plus cool. My mind was now wandering, considering if it was possible the ants were in every wall in the home. I wanted to call an exterminator plus have them treat the entire apartment plus the surrounding grounds for the ants. All the days my pal and I spent shivering because Sam could not keep up with the cold. The summer Sam and I sweltered inside the apartment because the a/c could not keep up swirled in my memory. I didn’t want to sleep in the study room or at the apartment until I was sure they exterminated every ant. Sam laughed plus told me it could be worse. Sam and I could have termites in the wood along with the ants in the insulation. I called the exterminator plus said I wanted them to treat for termites when they treated for ants. Sam and I were going to a hotel for one night so my pal and I weren’t in the apartment with the chemicals, plus Sam and I would have a/c. If they were treating for termites, Sam and I would have three nights with excellent AC, instead of one.

What frustrated me was that they had ten people at the house, plus it still took a few days to have the installation completed. I could not see why they took that long to complete the installation, even if they had new trainees with them.

When the Heating plus A/C tech delivered our new Heating plus A/C system plus sent their team out to handle the installation, I was shocked and puzzled. When our furnace broke, it left us in the cold for almost a whole week. Our furnace needed to be upgraded. Bob and I had heat tapes on our water pipes, plus my pal and I didn’t need to worry about them getting too cold. Bob and I ended up using the fireplace to keep our apartment warm. Bob and I had the kids camping on the living room floor, so they were hot all night. Bob slept in the recliner while I slept on the sofa. The boys thought it was an adventure, but Bob and I thought it was a pain in the back. Bob and I had a space furnace in the bathroom, so it wasn’t overly uncomfortable inside the house, except for when I had to go to the living room to get food. I felt cheerful when the week ended plus our furnace was finally delivered plus installed. The boys felt frustrated they could no longer camp in the living room, but Bob and I promised they could sleep in front of the fireplace once in a while, however last week, they asked to invite some friends plus camp in front of the fireplace. I had no reason to not allow it.
