I am one of those people who milk my birthday like crazy. I am well over twenty-five now, and I still like to make a big deal about my birthday. I can remember as a little girl, my parents did not do much to celebrate birthdays. They would just tell us youngsters thrilled birthday and every once in awhile my friend and I would get a birthday card. The first birthday that I can remember celebrating was my eighteenth birthday, and that was because one of my best friends threw me a birthday celebration. My hubby knows how much I cherish to celebrate birthdays, so he makes a big deal about my birthday. My associate and I basically celebrate it all month long. This year for my birthday, I told my hubby that I absolutely wanted a new a/c. My associate and I had had the same a/c since my friend and I first got married twenty years ago, and it was getting old. It made some peculiar howling noises sometimes, and it did not do the greatest task at cooling the downstairs. It was relatively small as well which did not help. My hubby was totally cool with getting me an a/c for my birthday, so when the day finally came my friend and I went a/c shopping. It was absolutely a lot of fun. My associate and I ended up getting two a/cs. One of them for the downstairs, and one for upstairs. Ever since then, my friend and I have been enjoying our nice, cool house. My hubby ended up surprising me with another gift the day after my birthday, although I suppose my preferred gift was the a/cs!
My hubby and I finally found a cabin with a central air conditioning system
Looking for a new cabin can be quite aggravating at times.
The cabin that my hubby and I purchased right before my friend and I got married was small and cozy, however once my friend and I popped out two youngsters, it was time to find something larger.
The nice thing about our little dwelling was that it had a big fenced in yard and a central air conditioning system. My preferred part about the dwelling was absolutely the air conditioning. I grew up separate from air conditioning, and it was so miserable in the dwelling during the summer time months. I used a window unit in an house that I rented with my friends before I got married, and it did not labor well at all. The house constantly felt hot. When my hubby and I started looking for a house, one of our priorities was to find another dwelling with central air. My associate and I had gotten used to the convenience of it. My associate and I looked for months and months. My associate and I only found one dwelling that had central air, and it was costly. My associate and I tried to get the owners to go down, however they refused to take our offers. My associate and I waited another four months before finally finding the dwelling of our dreams. I had an even larger backyard than our previous house, and it had central air. My associate and I are so excited to transport into our new house. My associate and I are going through the closing process right now, so soon my friend and I will be able to transport into our new home! I cannot wait to be in a larger cabin with central air conditioning and a big yard for our youngsters to play in.
We purchased a dwelling with heated flooring
My hubby, David, and I have been trying to find a dwelling that fits our needs and wants for a couple of years now.
My associate and I have looked in more than 2 odd neighborhoods, however one neighborhood caught our eye, however actually, one recognizable dwelling caught our eye, however it was not for sale.
My associate and I continued looking for months, however my friend and I never found anything that my friend and I liked. After about a year and a half of looking, the dwelling that my friend and I had enjoyed all along went up for sale. My associate and I were so excited, and my friend and I were the first to look at the house. My associate and I fell in cherish at first sight, and my friend and I made an offer. The previous owners took the offer right away, and my friend and I moved in just over two months later! One of the coolest features about this dwelling is that it has heated flooring. The entire downstairs has heated flooring, and I am so excited to use them this winter, when my friend and I first got married, I told my hubby that I wanted heated flooring in our house. When my friend and I were looking for our first home, getting a dwelling with heated flooring was just not in our budget. I certainly did not even know that heated flooring existed until I visited a neighbor up north, and my friend and I went to her parent’s for dinner. While my friend and I were there, I noticed that the floors seemed absolutely sizzling and toasty. I suppose I must have mentioned it because they told me all about their radiant floors. I was so amazed by them that I wanted radiant floors in my dwelling ever since then, now, my dream has come true!
Living up north has changed my temperature preferences forever
As a younger boy, I consistently described myself as a southern boy with a northern heart.
- I hated the heat and humidity where I lived, and I longed to transport up North where it was cool.
When I first met my future fiance at school, I asked him if we were to marry someday if he would be willing to live up north, then he was all for it because he knew of some fantastic task possibilities up there. Long story short, we ended up getting married, and now, we live up north. I can say that I was not prepared for the weather up here. Although I longed for a nice, cool locale to live, I was not prepared for how cold and snowy the winters would be. I literally had only seen snow a handful of times before I moved up north. My buddy and I never once turned on our heat in our loft down south, so having to use heat almost year round is crazy to me! I believe that my blood is too thin to live up here. I cannot suppose that I dreamed of living up north my whole life, and now that I am finally here, I hate it. It is just too cold. I freeze in the winter, and most of the time, I freeze in the summer. It only gets up to about seventy-five degrees during the afternoon, and it drops down to the fifties at night time. I believe the coldest it ever got when I was living down south was fifty degrees, and that was in the middle of the winter! I do not like to complain to my fiance about the weather since he likes it up north, and I am the one who asked him to transport up here in the first locale.
