Looking for a new cabin can be quite frustrating at times.

• The cabin that my fiance and I purchased right before my friend and I got married was small and cozy, however once my friend and I cooked out two kids, it was time to find something greater.

The nice thing about our little cabin was that it had a sizable fenced in yard and a central a/c. My number one part about the cabin was unquestionably the air conditioning. I grew up separate from air conditioning, and it was so miserable in the cabin while in the summer time months. I used a window component in an cabin that I rented with my friends before I got married, and it did not labor well at all. The cabin always felt hot. When my fiance and I started looking for a house, one of our priorities was to find another cabin with central air. We had gotten used to the convenience of it. We looked for months and months. We only found one cabin that had central air, and it was costly. We tried to get the owners to go down, however they refused to take our offers. We waited another four months before finally finding the cabin of our dreams. I had an even larger backyard than our previous house, and it had central air. We are so gleeful to transport into our new house. We are going through the closing process right now, so soon my friend and I will be able to transport into our new home! I cannot wait to be in a greater cabin with central air conditioning and a sizable yard for our kids to play in.

My fiance and I own a big, old farmhouse, but it legitimately belonged to my great Grandparents way back in the day.

• It is so full of history and character.

I am so thankful to be living in a cabin full of my own family’s history, my fiance has had to put a lot of labor into this old house. It is unquestionably high repair… We had to update all of the windows to help insulate the cabin a little better. We still lose quite a bit of heat while in the winter season months which makes heating the cabin quite costly, and the coldest rooms in the cabin are the family rooms. I do not know why, however they seem to lose the most heat. My son’s room is particularly the coldest. I feel his room is where most of the wind hits the house. We always have an electric space heater going in his room while in the winter season months so that he stays sizzling enough. This winter season has been the coldest winter season that I can remember since living in this big, old farmhouse. We have had to do even more than common to keep the cabin warm. It has been a lot of work, then some mornings my friend and I just all camp out in the living room near the wood stove in order to stay sizzling enough. I have had to use a second space heater in my son’s room because it has been so cold. I cannot wait for this winter season to end. It has already been hard and it is only December. My fiance is going to see if he can do anymore to help insulate the house, however to be honest, even our neighbors with newer houses are having trouble staying sizzling this winter.

I absolutely cherish being a mom.

My hubby used to jokingly say that he never wanted children because he would never be ready to take that responsibility.

Now that my friend and I have two youngsters, he could not be happier. Our two sons are so much fun. Our older child is ten, and our younger child just turned eight. My associate and I had a big birthday celebration for our youngest last week. It was an absolute blast although it sort of started as a disaster. My hubby has been away on business trips for our son’s fourth and sixth birthday parties, so my friend and I wanted to make his eighth birthday celebration big since dad would be cabin this time. My associate and I had everything ready to go for the celebration when swiftly our a/c started blowing sizzling air. I was so upset. I asked my hubby what could possibly be the matter. He checked it out, and he was not able to figure it out. At that point, guest had already started arriving. My associate and I planned on having some of the celebration indoors, however our plans would soon change. The dwelling was getting warmer and warmer. After just two hours separate from air conditioning, the dwelling was up to eighty degrees. My associate and I had to change all of the games to be outside games, and my friend and I even took the food outside to eat. It was much cooler to be outside with a breeze than inside the stuffy, humid house. I felt so poor for my son, however he absolutely did not mind at all. His preferred game was one that my friend and I did not even plan. It was a water balloon fight, but everyone got involved with the water balloon confrontation even the parents. My associate and I were all so sizzling that it was nice to get wet. My associate and I will never forget that birthday celebration separate from AC.

My associate and I still lose quite a bit of heat during the winter season months which makes heating the dwelling quite fancy, however the coldest rooms in the dwelling are the study rooms. I do not know why, however they seem to lose the most heat. My son’s room is easily the coldest. I suppose his room is where most of the wind hits the house. My associate and I constantly have an electric space furnace going in his room during the winter season months so that he stays sizzling enough. This winter season has been the coldest winter season that I can remember since living in this big, aged farmhouse. My associate and I have had to do even more than typical to keep the dwelling warm. It has been a lot of work… Some days my friend and I just all camp out in the entryway near the wood stove in order to stay sizzling enough. I have had to use a second space furnace in my son’s room because it has been so cold. I cannot wait for this winter season to end. It has already been taxing and it is only January. My hubby is going to see if he can do anymore to help insulate the house, however to be honest, even our neighbors with newer houses are having trouble staying sizzling this winter.
