Your HVAC Troubleshooting Guys

My girl and I have vastly odd ideas of what good should be like.

We met a couple of months ago and the people I was with and I have a great relationship however the people I was with and I do not appreciate a lot of the same activities, and my girl prefers to be outdoors fishing, camping, and hiking. I would rather spend our time indoors playing video games, especially during the summer time months when the hot and cold temperatures are hot and scorching. My girl wanted myself and others to go camping with him last weekend. I asked him if there was going to be temperature control and she laughed. She didn’t laugh when I told him that I wasn’t going to go camping unless I was staying in a home that had ac, a shower, toilet, and a comfortable bed. My girl went camping without me. She had a great time with her friends, but I would have favorite that she stay at the house with me. I think it might be a terrible sign if the people I was with and I do not appreciate some of the same activities. I would be willing to try camping if the people I was with and I could stay in a home with a/c. I think it does not have to have a powder room or a cable, but I do not want to sleep in a tent and deal with ants, flies, and mosquitoes while suffering through the hot hot and cold temperatures without any AC. That is just simply not our idea of fun and I do not think that it ever will be. I do not think what direction our relationship is headed, but I do not think it’s anywhere near the state park.

Heat pump

During the Spring months I like to go around the house and disinfect all of the places that usually get missed, however this would include the air vents and the ductwork.

I detach all of the ductwork covers and I place them in a bath of sizzling soapy water.

I like to use Dawn dish detergent. I think it cuts through all of the grease and grime and the Soapy Suds make it easier to disinfect down each 1 of the vents after they have soaked for 30 minutes. I also use a long handled dusting broom to detach all of the dust and dirt inside of the ductwork. The telescoping handle is nearly 9 ft long and I can absolutely get inside of the duct work. It makes myself and others think absolutely organized when I get all of the ductwork and the air vents cleaned. It’s not something I do frequently, but I love the way the house smells when there is Lysol in the scent of every single 1 of the ducts. I was cleaning the duct toil this Spring and I was absolutely surprised to find purple dirt, dust, and lent that did not match anything in the house. The purple dirt and dust was absolutely odd and bizarre. I kept it out of the garbage can until our family could get lake house from school and work. I asked pretty much everyone if they knew what the purple dots could be from and no 1 had an answer. I sincerely still do not think how that purple substance ended up in the ductwork. It has bothered myself and others since I cleaned and that was 5 months ago.

I have some pretty superb friends.

I got hurt on the task a couple of weeks ago plus they came to the hospital to opportunity me up after I got a cast on my leg. They even rallied together to pay my rent for the next month so I do not have to worry about much at all… Of course, they did not cancel the Springtime camping trip that both of us take every year. The two of us were all supposed to go camping last weekend together. I was the man that made the plans. I got us reservations at the State Park plus I had sites that were right on the river. The river sites are incredibly hard to get, especially for several evenings in a row. I was proud of myself for making the reservations early, so both of us could love fishing on the river each afternoon plus evening. When the weekend was getting closer, I realized that my friends were still planning to go. I asked them to wait until I was feeling better, but they did not want to wait until the end of 6 weeks because fishing season would be over. I mostly understood why they did not cancel, even though I was still genuinely bummed out. When the guys left the house, they provided me the remote control for the smart control unit. They brought me a cooler with 2 bags of ice plus a 12 pack of beer. The guys turned the A/C down to 71 so it was frosty in the house plus they left for the lake. I ordered some pizza plus adjusted the control unit to a lower temperature. I was going to be frosty plus comfortable while they were gone.

Quality heating and cooling

I was performing some routine maintenance on the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C unit in 1 of the house rentals that I manage.

I knew I could save a couple of bucks by performing the routine service on our own.

While I was cleaning the AC and condenser, I observed a small amount of mold inside of the machine. I wasn’t sad with the amount of mold until I started taking the rest of the unit apart. I knew that I had to contact a professional. I called a contractor that I think and trust… She came to the rental property to look at the AC unit. She confirmed what I already suspected. The AC unit was filled with mold. The mold extended through the house and there was mold inside of the wall behind the area where the heat pump and AC unit were located. The problem with the mold was way worse than I expected and the injures were quite severe. Insurance would only spend money for injures to the wall and I had to fork out many grand for a new heat pump and ac. There was absolutely no way to safely salvage the plan after it had been riddled with mold for so long. I was planning to rent that unit that next month, but I had to change our plans when I found out about the problems with the heating and AC unit. Those issues had to be addressed and fixed before I could let anyone transport to the property. That month was another loss of $1650 bucks that I couldn’t substitute.
