I made an appointment after trying to fix the plumbing on my own

I honestly thought it would be easy to replace the shower head in the master bedroom and bathroom. The hardware that came with the shower head was just a couple of screws. It honestly seemed like a straightforward process to install the new shower head. I watched a couple of videos online and I was convinced that I could handle that job on my own without the help of a licensed plumbing contractor. I begin by putting some towels down on the floor just in case there was a small amount of water leakage. I removed the cover from the shower head and I started to remove the plumbing. None of the videos told me to shut off the water first. I did not realize that was important until water was spraying all over the bathroom. The walls were wet and so was the flooring. The place looks like a disaster. Thankfully the main shut off for the water is inside of my house. I shut off the water and called a plumbing contractor. I told the person on the phone that I tried to fix the problem on my own with very little success. The woman on the phone told me not to worry, because she would send a plumbing contractor as quickly as possible. I watched the contractor remove the shower fixtures and replace them. Other than shutting off the water, I knew exactly what I was doing. I would have been able to complete the job with ease if I had known to shut off the main water line first.

Building a cross fit gym

When the pandemic first began, they closed down all the local schools and businesses.

I had to work from home. My youngsters had to do their classes over the computer. It was a huge transition for us to navigate. One thing I observed after a few weeks is how the lack of physical activity was impacting the youngsters. They were no longer walking to the bus, or playing games, or having PE class at school. It was showing! I decided that it would benefit the entire family to develop a home workout program of some kind, to get them active. I wanted them to have fun at the same time. Using plywood, ladders, rope, and some equipment from my old home gym, I set up a complicated obstacle course in the backyard. I used to genuinely be into cross fit, but I wanted to apply a lot of those diverse training methods into this obstacle course. The concept was to make it so fun that the kids wouldn’t realize they were doing a cross fit workout program! Cross fit requires several different skills used interchangeably, so running, jumping, climbing, crawling, and several stretches were all used. We incorporated a few different workout program tricks from the show American Ninja Warrior, which the youngsters were big fans of watching. I could never keep up with the kids, who took the obstacle course seriously. We were performing cross fit workouts on a regular basis without any idea of what they were doing. It was fun and good for us.

Trying out cannabis

Never before in my life have I bought marijuana from someone classy. The first time I met Ian was to score a bit of cannabis. He took my breath away. I asked him out on the spot, in addition to he was impressed enough with my confidence to say yes. Both of us started dating, in addition to let me tell you that dating your weed dealer is genuinely amazing. Ian also expanded my horizons past getting high in addition to watching films into the realm of physical fitness, but he enjoyed yoga, and enjoyed combining yoga with cannabis into a good workout program. I have never in my life belonged to a gym, and never given half a thought to my physical fitness. I am not overweight. Wellness had never been about anything but looking good. Ian opened my mind to a whole new way of seeing things. When we combine yoga and cannabis it combines the best aspects of physical exertion in addition to mental tranquility. Both of us will light up, get high, and spend more than 2 hours in his private yoga studio. Whether or not both of us wear clothing I will leave to your imagination, but in any event the yoga tires me out yet invigorates me! I can see a long life with Ian, no question about it, but I am also committed to the art and skill of yoga, as well. I have truly never done yoga without cannabis, but I do need to try it some time, just to compare the experience. Have you tried cannabis in addition to yoga together?

My music for the gym

I like to give my life a list of songs.

When I was in middle school, a long time back, I would make mix tapes to play in my Walkman.

That was a portable tape player, something many of you are too young to remember. In school I graduated to making custom mixed discs. These afternoons everything is much easier because of Spotify and apple music in addition to other apps where you can create good playlists. I have about forty playlists currently, but tend to make a new 1 every few weeks or so depending on my mood, in addition to what the gym has been like. When I am focused on weight lifting, I tend to want loud, heavy beats in addition to screaming lyrics, so I listen to a lot of death metal. On the other hand when I use the treadmill and work on my cardio I want softer, more fun beats and listen to a lot of disco. The 1 thing I can’t handle listening to is the hustle and bustle of the gym. I don’t like hearing everyone grunting and talking to each other. My gym offers cross fit classes. I have never taken one. I do love to use their training course. Whenever they are between workout programs, they open up the room, which is like an obstacle course designed to highlight the skills taught in cross fit. I genuinely love the intense workout of the obstacle course, but can never take a cross fit class because I have to listen to my music, not the woman trainer running the class!
