One of the things I savor about our home is that the two of us have a porch attached to the home that leads into the backyard.

The porch is a room within our house, but our central Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C plan does not extend to it. It can get undoubtedly frigid in the winter, but the two of us just keep it closed off during that time of year! Up until this point, the two of us have not had any air conditioning on the porch. However, as our kids get older plus have friends over more often, the porch is used more plus more often. My hubby plus I have decided that the two of us want to add some form of supplemental air conditioning that the two of us can use when it is needed, but that the two of us won’t have to run always prefer our central air system. Every one of us are unsure of whether or not the two of us should get a ductless mini split or a portable air conditioning. A ductless mini split is more fancy, but it is designed to cool a unique room, it does not need to be near a window, plus it is a higher quality machine. That being said, the two of us don’t necessarily need anything upscale. A portable air conditioning is affordable, more powerful than a window unit, plus it can be moved around if the two of us ever need to put it anywhere else. I’m not sure which system of air conditioning the two of us will pick, but the two of us want to make a decision before the Summer starts.

When I was younger and living in house buildings, I constantly relied on window air conditioning system units to keep the arena cool.

• They never did that good of a task.

Not to mention, they were really noisy and used a lot of electricity. I remember there were a few times when I was running the air conditioning system so much that I blew a fuse and would lose power for a little while. The arena would get so warm so hastily. Now, I have realized that there is a much better choice when it comes to cooling a space that does not have central cooling. Portable air conditioning system systems are far superior than the window units I’ve had. First of all, portable air conditioning system systems are way more efficient. They are resting units, so you are able to move and position the air conditioning system system much more freely than the window units, even if you have yours connected to a window. They are also available with much more cooling power. Another perk is that you can roll them from 1 room to another. Whenever I used a window air conditioning system unit, it was constantly so heavy and difficult to get in the window. I really had no intention of moving it once it was installed. With the portable unit, it’s easy to roll the component from 1 room to another if need be. Honestly, it would have made our life so much easier if I had a portable air conditioning system system when I was a renter.

People always have a routine when it comes to their sleeping habits.

For me, I love to do our skincare routine, brush our teeth, put on comfortable pajamas, and learn for about a half an hour before bed.

I know that might be a lot for other people because occasionally you just want to go straight to bed and fall asleep with the cable on. However, our bedtime routine makes myself and others think good, so I don’t care if it is too much for some people. In fact, our bedtime rituals extend to our temperature preferences. I love to keep our air conditioning system on really high while I’m sleeping. I like to sleep in a cool setting because I love to have thick, hot blankets on our bed year round. When friends and family stay with me, they constantly comment on how freezing I keep our room. Periodically I will adjust the temperature to accommodate their preferences, however when it’s just me, I keep it as cool as 60 degrees. Additionally, I use a portable humidifier. I love to keep the humidifier on in our room because it helps myself and others to breathe better. It also makes myself and others more comfortable with the cool temperatures. Dry air feels a lot cooler than hot air. I don’t love when Heating and A/C systems dry myself and others out, so our humidifier prevents that from happening. As long as I follow our routine, I sleep quite soundly, and that’s all that matters to me.
