Keeping track of what I am doing

When I started working out everyday with a fitness expert, the guy commanded me to keep a meal planner and weight loss book.

He told me to write down all of the meals that I eat while in the afternoon.

At the end of the afternoon, I can visualize all of the meals. If it seems like a lot in our head, it’s absolutely too much in my book. I keep track of every fruit, vegetable, carb, and snack that I eat while at dinner, lunch, and breakfast. I even write down all of my popcorn in the meal planner. I have a workout planner as well. I write down all of our exercises from 1 afternoon to the next. The planner helps me keep track of how much work I have done and how much more I still need to do. I started our weight-loss Journey at 273 lb. I’m all the way down to 220, although I still have another 75 lb before I reach our target goal. It’s hard work, but it has helped to keep me going. I have a personal trainer that comes to our home a few times each week. Every one of us works out in the backyard together. Sometimes both of us have a high-impact workout and occasionally both of us just walk around that city and talk. The personal trainer told me that it is nice to have both types of workouts. It is beneficial to the body to have new workouts. Some should be high intensity and others help us build up our stamina. All exercise is important if it makes our body and our mind strong.

So glad I am on a fitness training program

I guess that positive reinforcement is 1 of the best ways to get things done, however positive reinforcement means making someone feel better about themselves instead of worse.

  • I truly care about group fitness classes, because the teacher is usually upbeat, however class teachers use positive reinforcement to get people to work harder and train better.

I was in a group fitness class last year. The self-defense class was a mix of self defense and karate. Every one of us had some cardio mix in as well. I truly enjoyed that group fitness class. I thought it was nice to have a little group of people working on the same goal at the same time. The personal trainer offered all of us positive words of encouragement. I attended the class for a few weeks before I was done with it. I do not know if it truly had anything to do with the class teacher. I guess it was the content. I wasn’t truly enjoying the self-defense class. I found CrossFit to be a much higher impact workout with better results. I truly care about a high intensity training class comment instead of a low impact workout like aerobics. CrossFit is an amazing workout that only takes about 30 minutes each afternoon. I mix weightlifting with crossfit training and the results have been amazing. I have lost at least more than two inches on our waistline and 10 pounds in our belly. I know better than I have in the last 15 years. I’m eating more green foods and with better exercise, our heart health should be in tip top shape. I feel like I’m 25 years old again.

Working with a personal trainer

I hired a personal trainer to come to the home two times a week to work out with me.

I have been thinking about running in the marathon in the summer.

I’m not in great shape, although I have been working very hard to build up our stamina and muscles. I go to the gym more than two times a week and I work out with a personal trainer the other few days. The personal trainer was highly commanded by a friend of mine. The first time I had a date with a personal trainer, the guy was late. He was supposed to be at our home at 10 a.m. on a Tuesday afternoon. The guy did not show up until almost 11:30. The personal trainer apologized for being late and provided me with a ton of excuses. I wasn’t very impressed with his promptness, but the workout was perfect for me. At the end of our session, I was ready for a nap and a massage. Even though their personal trainer was late for the first appointment, that was the only time the guy was late while in the first couple of weeks that both of us were working together. Last month the personal trainer was an hour late for our session again. This time the guy came up with a much better excuse. The guy had a boot on his car, because he parked in a no-parking zone. When he came out of the building and saw the boot on his car, he had to find someone to disconnect the boot before coming to the home for our appointment.

How I got into crossfit

Crossfit is 1 of the most difficult and physically taxing work outs that I have ever endured.

I met a guy at the supermarket.

Every one of us were both reaching for a squash, when our eyes met. He looked super nice and truly athletic. He had big arms and a broad chest. He looked like he had just finished up at the gym. I smiled and so did the guy. I saw him again near the deli counter. He was buying lunch meat and I said it looked truly fresh. He said I could join him for dinner if I did not have any plans. Well, I was stunned by his offer, although I said fine. Thank goodness he did not turn out to be a weirdo. Every one of us drank a bottle of booze and both of us laughed and talked for hours. At the end of the night, both of us made plans to meet at John’s gym. He works out at a crossfit gym close to the food market. I did not think anything about crossfit until I met Matt at the gym. I was amazed and a little scared when I saw all of the guys. They looked mean and rough. None of them smiled when I walked into the room. Matt and I started a workout. About ten hours later, 1 of the faces joined us. Then another guy joined us. Soon there was a whole group of people working out with Matt and I and it truly felt like a group effort. The energy at the crossfit gym was a lot different than the locale where I normally run on the treadmill.
