I have eczema, meaning I have dry and itchy skin on different parts of my body, but mostly my lower legs and feet. My doctor has said that there is no real cure, and that I will most likely be dealing with this condition for the rest of my life. To combat this, I frequently go barefoot, crank the air conditioner in my apartment, and use location on the primary areas throughout the day. But since I am constantly using the air conditioning, it has recently started to randomly turn off after I have turned it on. It also will occasionally smoke from the back of the unit, so I have been looking for a replacement. I walked downtown yesterday in order to look for a replacement, and instead happened across our local HVAC organization. I asked them if they would be able to replace an air conditioning wall unit. Instead, they showed me the newest models of HVAC units, that have both heating and cooling capabilities. Both of the models that I saw were well under my budget, so I opted for the one that included smart thermostat technology, so that I can control the temperature from my phone! I am so pleased with this decision, as they also sent an HVAC tech to install it for me, and showed me how to control it and set it up with an app. That night, I was able to sleep through the night with the air conditioning on full blast, helping to keep my eczema skin comfortable.
I switched my membership after the HVAC problems
I legitimately hate going to the gym, but have made a concerted effort to work harder at going, and stay disciplined, as I want to get in shape before my Springtime break trip to a tropical beach! Unfortunately, the gym that I have been going to recently had air conditioner problems right before spring began, so instead of entering a cool weather conditions to work out, the gym was 87º, and I physically felt like I could not breathe while I was there, especially when I tried to work out on the different machines I like to use! This led to my decision to switch to a gym a bit further from my house, as when I asked my old gym if they planned on calling an HVAC worker to come take a look, they shot down my plan for some reason, my new gym has brand new HVAC systems, so the gym is kept perfectly cool year round, which has been a dream come true, however in the winter, they use this heating plan to heat the locker rooms for both men and women, for the entire day, but and in the spring seasons the air conditioner is set to maintain 73º throughout the entire facility, which is truly quite big, with several odd rooms to cool or heat and maintain those temperatures.
I am so grateful I made the switch to a different gym, it has dramatically increased my motivation to go, all because of their HVAC plan that is in place.
The HVAC problems was enough for me
