I had to move to the south for work and I can tell you that I really hate it.

• Summers used to be the great time of year for beach, vacation and all that fun stuff.

But here in the south Summers are like the most horrible time of year you could even imagine. The heat is not stop and it is over one hundred and ten degrees to where you can not be without air conditioning. This is twenty four hours a day and seven days a week. There is no break at night or at anytime. It is non stop! Many people have their central heating and air conditioning systems break down all the time because they are overworking themselves trying to fight the heat and make their homes even livable. It is so horrible words can not explain! If there is ever a time that I can save up the money to move across the country again I will be doing it in a heartbeat! I will quit my job and go back east where I came from and find a new job. This heat and need for air conditioning 24/7 is not for me. I also have to get my central heating and air conditioning system tuned up and checked up every single season because of this. That was something I did not have to do while I was back east. This is something I will also never get used to or want to get used to. I yearn for the fun and relaxing summers back home.

It is a great way to kill a hot Saturday afternoon let me tell you! Especially if I have nothing else better to do

Going to the local library is not something I do every single day. It is only in the summer time months of the year I go there. I do read, but I have enough books at home and on the internet to last me a lifetime. But in the summer I love going to the library because they have really great central air conditioning! The air conditioning in the library is much better than the air conditioning that I have at home. This is because they have what is called a commercial heating and air conditioning system. They are huge and they cool commercial buildings. Naturally this makes these type of heating and cooling units more powerful. I love to go to the library on a nice hot Saturday afternoon and sit in their lounge to read and sometimes even just relax and nap. I make it look like I am reading sometimes when really I am just there to enjoy the central air conditioning coming from their top notch commercial heating and air conditioning system. I will also use their computers sometimes as well if I am not in the mood to read or do not feel like sitting in the lounge. It is a great way to kill a hot Saturday afternoon let me tell you! Especially if I have nothing else better to do. The library is the best place to take in that great central air conditioning that is top notch and very powerful. I really truly enjoy the entire experience of it all.

When I graduated from heating and air conditioning school I decided to try to go into business for myself rather than work for a heating and air conditioning company.

It is called being an independent heating and cooling contractor.

I worked very hard and in the end I did succeed. Today I have my very own heating and air conditioning business and it is going strong. But it did not get here overnight. It was a long climb to the top and I had to do a lot of things over the course of a year to get everything going solid. Advertising my heating and air conditioning business and competing with the others was the toughest. I had to do a lot of HVAC jobs for lower prices in order to compete at first. I was working very hard and all days of the week in the beginning to be able to make a living and keep things going. But as my client base began to build I was finally able to switch to the usual Monday through Friday hours that all heating and air conditioning companies have. I did not offer emergency heating and cooling home services at all. I was not interested in such things because I needed to have breathing space and plenty of time for myself. I am so glad I have that today and that things really did work out well with my heating and air conditioning business as an independent heat and a/c contractor in my local area.

Whenever it is possible to give your central heating and air conditioning system a break, by all means do it.

• I was able to do this and save on energy use and in turn save money.

But how can you do this? Well there are a few different ways. The way I did it was by getting a smart thermostat. By having a smart thermostat I was able to reduce the use of my central heating and air conditioning system by almost 50 percent! This was due to the fact of being able to have the heat or the a/c off while I am out of the house for long periods of time working or doing other things. The other way you can give your central heating and air conditioning system a break is to buy a portable air conditioning system and a portable space heater. These can also reduce your HVAC system usage. Because you can run the portable air conditioning system or the portable space heater half the time and then run the central heating and air conditioning system the other half of the time. I never tried that method but a friend of mine did and they saved about the same amount I am saving by using my smart thermostat. So both of those methods are great energy savers. The cheapest is the way I went. And that was simply just buying a smart thermostat and making great use of it in every single way through the app that comes for your cell phone and your computer to operate it.
