Life took everyone by surprise as no one anticipated the pandemic’s coming.

But it happened the way it did and I had to adjust just like the rest of the world. Almost immediately, the company I worked for closed the offices and sent me home to consider working remotely. That meant no more zone controlled Heating & Air Conditioning for me. And that wasn’t the best because it also meant sharing my house with teenagers who didn’t want to homeschool. Beside that, my wife and I both tried to share the office in our house insite of having two different working styles. Eventually, this led me to creating my own space in the basement. The first thing I did was get some great heating and cooling equipment. The Heating & Air Conditioning company came and installed a ductless heat pump for me. Over the first months of that summer, I started embarrassing working from the home office even more. Working from home worked for me. So when the eventual layoffs came, I was ready. For some years earlier, I had planned to leave the company to go out on my own in a sort of free lance manner. Some would call it a consultant however I’m a bit more services oriented expert. Even so, I knew that I would have to start from the houses and maybe partner with some friends in the long run. Therefore, the pandemic sort of gave me a head start on what to do and where to begin. I quickly became a success and this made me more eager to venture out.

Does anybody here know someone in their personal life that always yells? I do and I’ve never liked it when people always feel the need to yell to get their point across.

It just seems like a perfect way to shut down any kind of discussion or disagreement.

Unfortunately, I know all too many people that do this deliberately for this reason. Some people just cannot handle being wrong and so because they cannot handle being wrong they feel that if they yell they can shut down any opposition to their arguments, no matter how illogical their arguments may be. I know a couple people that just basically want to have other people obey everything without they say without questioning. Needless to say this is not something that is healthy and not something that I want in my life. I used to have this exact situation with my boyfriend. My boyfriend and I always disagreed on heating and AC systems, and it’s what the temperature of our apartment should be. I didn’t know what then but it would ultimately end up being the thing that split us up. Every time I would go to explain my side of why I wanted the heater or air conditioner to be a certain temperature he just wouldn’t have it. If I tried to explain myself or reason with him he would just yell at me. It was a very eye-opening experience, and it only further proved what I already knew. Which is that yelling at someone over something like that just doesn’t work. Because all it does is push people away.

When my son wanted to go to school to become a heating and AC worker I was really excited for him.

Sure I know for some people being a heating and air conditioning worker wasn’t the most exciting job in the world but it was what he wanted to do.

My son had been passionate about heating and air conditioning systems since he was a little kid. While all the other kids were interested in more traditional jobs, he was interested in something different and I really like that. It was because of how skilled he was when it came to repairing things. By the time he was 16 he was repairing things all around the house for us. Nobody ever asked him to repair things, we always had plans to get a repair person for whenever something broke down around the house. When we were having trouble with our toilet we were going to call a plumber, and when we were having issues with our computer we were going to call a technician. However, our son was always on to fix these things. He would always almost get offended when we would offer to call a professional and he insisted that he do it himself. He always did a really great job too. He was a fast learner and so it wasn’t too much of a surprise when he wanted to go into the heat and AC industry because he seemed to have a passion for fixing things. Unfortunately, the schools that he decided to go to don’t seem to be teaching much of anything because he keeps telling us how he isn’t learning anything in his lessons. Now he’s thinking about switching to a new school.

When I checked on him he admitted to me that he had installed my brand new heater incorrectly, but he was hoping that it was still working anyways

When I had just purchased a brand new heater I was really excited to quickly get it installed as fast as possible. I was over enthusiastic about using it and so I was trying to find an appointment with a heating and air conditioning specialist as quickly as possible. Thankfully there are plenty of heating and AC businesses around here and as a result of this it didn’t take me long to schedule an appointment with say Heating and cooling professional. When this heating and air conditioning professional came out to my home he seemed very knowledgeable about what he was doing, I showed him where I wanted my new heater and he got to work replacing the old heater with a new heater. I knew it would take some time for it to be installed, he had to remove the old one first before he could install the new one. However I started to get a little bit worried when he had been back there already for an hour and I hadn’t seen him once. But I figured maybe he was just busy and so I waited a little bit longer. But then 1 hour turned into two and I still haven’t seen the HVAC technician at all! I decided to go and see how he was doing. When I checked on him he admitted to me that he had installed my brand new heater incorrectly, but he was hoping that it was still working anyways. Then he left. Well unfortunately for me, it didn’t work after he left and I had to get in another appointment to fix it. I was pretty unhappy about the whole situation.
