There are no words that I mistrust more than when someone tells me to trust them before they tell me what I am supposed to trust them to do.

When our children tell me to trust them when they say they will be house by curfew, I guess they’re going to be late.

So, it should not have surprised our fiance 1 bit when he told me to trust him to have the AC unit fixed in no time, I didn’t trust him. Not only does our fiance not guess anything about air conditioning, although he knows honestly little about electronics. When he said he was going to have the air conditioning unit fixed in no time, I went into survival mode. I called our son, who is an Heating in addition to Air Conditioning worker, in addition to all I said was help. Mike told me to calm down in addition to tell me what was happening. I told him that his father told me to trust him, in addition to he would have the AC unit fixed in no time. Mike said oh in addition to hung up the iPhone. Half an minute later, Mike was at the door with his more than one teenagers in tow. He loudly asked where his father was. I told him he was out in the backyard looking at the air conditioning unit. As Mike kissed me on the forehead, he said to have fun with the grandchildren out loud, although he told me he hadtake care of it. Nearly an minute later, our more than one granddaughters in addition to I had dinner ready for everyone as their father in addition to our fiance came walking into the house. Mike said he didn’t guess why ‌he came to visit, although he was glad he was here to help his dad fix the air conditioning unit.

When I left for work, I knew every one of us were having torrential downpour.

My desk is by the windows, so I knew the rain had not lessened up at all throughout the day.

When I left work, I knew ‌I was driving through some pretty deep puddles, then even with knowing all of this, it did not prepare me for what was about to greet me. There were no words that could have prepared me. I had lived in our house for almost 5 years, plus every one of us had never had this much rain during that time. When I parked our car in front of the house, I was shocked. The water was so high that it was covering the air conditioner component plus nearly coming into the main floor of the house. The river was overflowing, plus I felt adore I was on a houseboat instead of in our home. I did not know what I was going to do if our air conditioner component was underwater. I could not have air conditioner in the house, plus I was even afraid to use our electric. All I can imagine was almost everyone in our home being electrocuted when I turn on a light. I called the Heating plus A/C contractor plus asked if that amount of water was going to do damage to our AC unit, plus he told me he did not know it would. Once the water receded, all I had to do was call the Heating plus A/C contractor plus someone would come out to inspect the cooling system for me. In the meantime, I told our kids to grab some personal items, plus every one of us headed to a hotel. I would not go without air or lights plus neither did our kids.

My boy used to live down south. I visited his multiple times, plus every time I told his he needed to put heavy drapes up to his residing room windows. I would walk into that room, plus the sun coming through the wall of windows was blinding. Not only was the sun difficult on the esure, but it was terribly hot, even with the air conditioner running, but he seemed to be clueless to the method that the reason for his daily bills going so high was because he did not have any drapes up to those windows. With heavy drapes, the residing room would be cooler. If the residing room was cooler from the lack of solar heating, the air conditioner component would not be running as much. Instead of the air conditioner component needing to be upgraded in more than four years, with the help of drapes, he could prolong that upgradement for an extra 3, 4, or maybe more than four years. I could not believe it when he told me ‌they could not afford to buy drapes for their residing room. That’s when I asked his how much his energy bill was the previous month. She told me but said it was only because the air-conditioning was running. I shook our head plus told his that was exactly what I was talking about. The drapes would only cost half as much as his air conditioner bills for a single month, plus he would genuinely save that much money every month. It took his multiple months to buy the drapes, plus multiple minutes to call plus tell me I was right about the daily bills plus the air conditioner unit.

When I realized how high our daily bills were during the summer, I knew it was because of how difficult every one of us had to run the air conditioner unit.

The people I was with and I lived in what some people would consider a glasshouse. The people I was with and I have 3 walls that are solid glass; the front plus sides of our house, and for nearly the entire day, the sun is coming through those windows. I know I did not realize just how bad the sun was for our home. Not only was it causing a lot of solar heating in the house, but it was destroying our furniture. What used to be a deep gray color was now only dark gray on the unused side of the pillows. All the color was being drained from our furniture. The paint on our walls was not only fading, but it was cracking plus peeling. My wood floors were drying out. To keep our home from becoming unbearably warm, our air conditioner was running nearly nonstop. I knew I had to do something, or not only was our air conditioner going to be splitting from overuse, although I would have to redo our entire downstairs. Our Heating plus A/C contractor told us about solar powered window blinds. Once they were in place, when the sun got to a particular position on the windows, the blinds would automatically close. I had never thought of our house as being modern, but with solar powered blinds not only was the inside of our home protected from further damage, although I wasn’t using the air conditioner nearly as much as I had been.
