As a kid, David looked forward to when he’d head off to college and become more independent.

He grew up as the youngest of boys so he was consistently being babied.

One of the things David adored so much about the college lifestyle was the opportunity to live with his best friend. Well, now that David is in college and living with him, he’s here to tell you that it’s not what it’s made up to be. Just the other day David and his friend were in a sticky situation because the air conditioning system had broken down and was blowing out warm air. The unit was also not turning off. As a way of stopping the warm air from running all day, the two friends were forced to turn the entire air conditioning system off in the house. This led to them not having any access to cool air relief until the two friends got some Heating and Air Conditioning assistance. On the 3rd day without cool air, David did get a certified Heating and Air Conditioning repair person out to help service this disastrous problem. Lucky for them, living in this lake house they were fortunate to be in the presence of an extremely talented and time-efficient specialist. Their good friend Alexa was able to get the air conditioning system to start blowing out cool air again. The minute the place was cool, all of the tension left the house. David is sure they will all find something else to argue about in no time at all, but for the time being everything is chill.

Well, now that we’re in university and residing with several roommates, we’re here to tell you that it’s not what it’s made up to be. Several days ago we were in a sticky situation because the HVAC system had broken down and was only able to blow out moderate air without turning off. In order to prevent the moderate air from running all day, we had no choice but to turn the entire air conditioning system off in the cabin. As a result, none of us had any access to cool air relief until we got some Heating & A/C assistance. It wasn’t until two days later that we were able to get a certified Heating & A/C worker out here to help repair this disastrous problem. Fortunately for all of us residing in this cabin, we were blessed with the presence of a quite talented and time efficient HVAC worker. Our neighbor Alex managed to get the HVAC system to start blowing out cool air again. As soon as the home was cool again all of the tension left the cabin. I’m sure we will all find something else to argue about like all roommates do, however for the time being everything is calm and normal for once.

It wasn’t until the third or fourth day that we were able to get a certified HVAC tech out here to help fix this disastrous problem. Luckily for all of us living in this home we were blessed with the presence of an extremely talented and time efficient tech. Our friend Alex was able to get the A/C unit to start blowing out cool air again and as soon as the house was cool again all of the tension left the house. I’m sure we will all find something else to argue about like all roommates do, however for the time being everything is calm and normal for once.

When my son was growing up, I would be lying if I said that I wasn’t concerned for him.

I was.

My son when he was in middle school, was a straight A student. He was incredibly smart, and he knew it. He loved to please, and was a teacher’s favorite student. Didn’t matter what subject it was, if he put his heart into it, he could ace it. He told me he wanted to become a doctor, and I was so proud. However, when he went to high school, he started hanging out with the wrong crowd, which convinced him it was cool to take drugs. He began to lie to me, and sneak out. There would be times I didn’t know where he was, and it greatly concerned me. He didn’t accept help from me or his father, it wasn’t until one of his friends died due to their reckless lifestyle, he started getting his stuff together. It took awhile, but eventually he was declared to be clean. He still wanted to be a doctor, but he wanted to put it off for awhile while he heals. Instead he went to HVAC university, and instead started hanging out with fellow HVAC workers and turned his life around. He graduated as a certified HVAC technician and was hired by a local A/C corporation. I am so proud of how he turned out. For a while I was pretty worried for him, and I worried he was going to end up in jail. I am so glad he found his heating and A/C friends, they helped get his life on track. Without that, I feel it would be much harder to help him.
