My cousin and I grew up together on an old farm. Although we were technically cousins, we were more like siblings. My cousin lived with us for awhile, while his father, my uncle, was in jail. I don’t know exactly why my uncle was in jail, but I knew it revolved around making and selling illegal products. Anyways, let’s just say the apple didn’t fall far from the tree, because my cousin always idolized his father. As a teenager, he started picking up his bad habits and selling illegal things. His mother briefly tried to turn him onto the right path by paying for his HVAC university for him to become a certified HVAC specialist, but he never finished and went back to his old ways. Anyways, despite this, we still talk every now and then. When I was having issues with my air conditioning unit, my cousin convinced me to let him look at it, and attempt to fix it. I knew he was in shady businesses, and I probably shouldn’t but I was desperate. My gut instinct was right, and letting him work on my HVAC device was the worst mistake I could have made. I don’t know what he did, but even though it had its issues beforehand, it was amplified after he was done. Then it quit working, and my warranty was voided because he worked on it. I had to pay out of pocket for a brand new HVAC installation. Never let anyone who isn’t certified work on your HVAC machines, especially if they have a shady past.

I went to my local church this past Sunday for mass.

I usually go at least once a month to church. The reason for this is because before they used to have the worst heating and air conditioning in the place. If it was winter it would be too cold in there and if it was summer it would be way too hot. But this past Sunday something changed! It seemed they finally got a brand new heating and air conditioning system in there and the temperatures were perfect. They were so perfect that I was feeling very relaxed at mass. I could tell all the others were feeling the same way. As a matter of fact the priest even made a comment of how great the air quality and temperatures were and then announced that they actually did buy a brand new central heating and air conditioning system for the church. They were able to do it because of all the donations from people like me that give 5 or 10 bucks every time we go to mass in order to support the needs of the church and to make things better. It was so refreshing to know that some of this money went for a brand new central heating and air conditioning system unit. It had been needing to be replaced for quite some time. I have been hoping something like this would eventually happen. Now that it has, I may end up going back to church mass every single Sunday like I used to before the central heating and air conditioning system in there was not acting right.

I have a nice little workshop in my basement that I built recently.

I am a musician and also build guitars. And this hobby of mine actually makes me some side cash because I sell some of them. However, there is no heating or air conditioning in the basement. This was because the ductwork of the house was only laid for the central heat and a/c unit to go in the main part of the home. I had 2 choices. One was to have all this construction done to have ductwork laid into the basement and have the central heating and air conditioning system rerouted to work there as well. But that would cost too much and be a real hassle to have all that construction being done in the house. I just had enough construction as it was turning this basement into a workshop. My wife and kids have had enough of the noise and inconvenience. And really, so have I. So the only solution is choice number 2. And that is to go and invest a few thousand into a ductless mini split air conditioning system and then call the local heat and a/c company to have them send out a certified heating and cooling specialist to convert the ductless mini split air conditioning system into a fully working ductless mini split heating and air conditioning system! That is going to be the best course of action to complete my workshop I think.

I could not believe it when my good friend got me what I really needed for my birthday this year. I needed a portable air conditioning system for my work from home office. And he bought it for me for my birthday! I was really surprised and shocked in a happy way. My income is kind of tight right now and I can not afford to spend five hundred and something bucks on a really nice and good portable air conditioning system. And this summer I will really need it bad. Because my office in the house does not have more than this one tiny air vent in it that does not blow the cool air from the central air conditioning very well and the room gets kind of stuffy. Having a really good portable air conditioning system in there would really help things along and make me be able to work in better privacy. Last summer I had to sit in there with the door opened and that caused distraction from my kids running around and playing all over the place while I was trying to work! But now because of this wonderful and quite surprising birthday gift of a portable air conditioning system from my friend, I will not have to deal with that this summer! I can have the door closed and have full concentration to do my job while my wife deals with the kids as I work hard in my home office. I could not thank my friend enough for the portable air conditioning system!
