All winter long, my skin looks like an alligator’s skin.

I look at my arms plus they are almost as wrinkled and leathery as my 90-year Grandpa’s skin. I know I need a humidifier in my house, but I keep forgetting until it is too late. I got a portable humidifier, but it wasn’t high quality enough to make a difference. I’m afraid if I keep forgetting about humidification during the winter, I’ll not get rid of the wrinkles, plus I’ll look sixty when I’m still in my thirties. Max told me I could get a humidifier that goes into the furnace, if I keep forgetting to install the portable one. Max said I could also put pans of water inside the air vents, but I’m afraid that I’d forget that more than I do the humidifier. Max then jokingly told me to cook more pasta while in the winter. I knew Max was joking because she knows I don’t like pasta. I am finding out that not only is my skin getting leathery in the winter, but it is the same in the summer. I have been an avid swimmer for years, plus I feel I thought the water would help hydrate my skin, even if I am in the sun. I was wrong. I live in a dry area, plus I need a humidifier in the cooling system as much as I need it in the furnace. When I called the Heating plus Air Conditioning business, they told me that I should have a humidifier in my cooling system. The AC specialist came out to look at the cooling system. There was no humidifier inside my cooling system. I had to buy a current cooling system. The great news is that this system was already aged when I bought the house.

My partner Max plus I had been discussing what to do for a cooling system this year.

• At the end of the Summer season last year, Max and I were told Max and I needed a current cooling system unit.

Max and I hoped to baby the A/C equipment for one more year or more, but our service tech this Spring told us it wasn’t going to happen. The Heating plus Air Conditioning tech was quite adamant about us needing the current cooling system unit. Max and I tried looking at various websites plus trolling for sales, hoping to get a great price on new cooling system equipment like my associate and I recently had. The cost of cooling system units had gone up a lot since Max and I bought the aged A/C unit. Max and I were running out of time with the weather, plus my associates and I needed to make a decision. It was a definitive yup to a current cooling system, but Max and I didn’t know which one to buy. Looking at the weather told us my associates and I had to make a decision because they were showing possible nineties at the end of the ten-day weather forecast. I called the Heating plus Air Conditioning company plus asked them to send out someone to measure up for the current cooling system, however even if Max and I had to reach into our property equity, my associate and I had to get the cooling system. When the local Heating plus Air Conditioning specialist arrived, he had some welcome news for us. He said there were some A/C units that were on sale. They weren’t being thrown out, but they were great cooling system units. He would buy one of them if he needed one. Max and I knew he was an excellent Heating plus Air Conditioning specialist plus took his expert suggestion.

I got a call from one of the local property centers last week.

They offered me my name plus address plus told me I had won a prize in their giveaway.

I had won a cooling system unit, plus all I had to do was come down to their property center plus option out my current cooling system. I needed better A/C equipment in my living room, plus I was instantly wondering what size A/C equipment I required. My dad plus Sam came over, plus dad checked the BTU’s. The next day, Sam took me to the property center to option out my A/C unit. When Sam and I got there, I offered the person my raffle ticket plus he called the manager. The manager came over to show me my current cooling system. I told him I was to option out the cooling system I wanted. He agreed with me, plus showed me three weird models. Sam spoke up plus told him that wasn’t how it sounded. Sam thought I should be able to choose my cooling system, plus not just choose between their choices. The manager apologized for the misconception, but said it wasn’t done on purpose. Sam asked if my associate and I could trade it in for the larger cooling system equipment I needed. He said he could take the price of their chosen A/C unit, plus take it off the price of the A/C equipment I selected. I still couldn’t afford the larger cooling system. I took a smaller A/C equipment home, hoping I would get some comfort out of this small A/C unit, but seriously doubting it.

I was easily a lucky little girl.

When I was about four, my stepdad built a playroom property in our side yard. Ed had installed electricity, running water, plus an Heating plus Air Conditioning system.
