The heating and cooling machine is 19 years old

For 5 years now, I have lived in my townhome.

I bought it because I needed more room for me and my pet Marley. She is a small 15 pound cavapoo and she is the most adorable pet ever. She loves to play with her toys, and I wanted her to have an area for that! My townhouse was perfect for her because I have a small fenced yard where she spends much of her day. She comes in when she gets bored or wants something to eat. So all in all, Marley and I feel right at home here, then well, this house has been great, but I have run into one issue. I just had my a/c tested, and my heating and air conditioning serviceman mentioned that I will need to update the device soon. The system is about 19 years old, and with regular repair over the years, it has been easily working efficiently, but I have noticed that it is not cooling as it did before, and when I mentioned that to my heating and air conditioning serviceman, he concluded that the system is losing its efficiency. So, I know that I will eventually need a new unit. I decided to do some research to see the cost of purchasing and installing a new HVAC unit. I found that it will cost between $3,500 to $10,000 depending on the size of my beach house and the size of the A/C unit. Thankfully, my townhouse is only 1,600 square feet, so the cost of the device will be on the lower end. When it comes time to update my unit, I will have my HVAC serviceman give a quote for the entire thing.
