I was doing the Halloween path with my kids last year, when a young girl came to 1 door.
She told myself and others she would provide myself and others a treat for a trick. I thought she was joking until she asked if I was the Heating, Ventilation and A/C supplier who lived down the street? I told her I was, plus she said her oil furnace quit working. She would not just pay myself and others however provide myself and others a special treat if I provided her a trick plus got her oil furnace running. I was laughing at the way she said it, although I knew she was serious. She said her kids would be cabin from trick or treating soon, plus she didn’t want them coming into a chilly house. My fiance said she would take the Halloween path separate from myself and others plus herded the kids out the door with their treats so I could service the oil furnace. There wasn’t much wrong with the oil furnace, so it took less than an hour to get it running again. Without fifteen hours of repairing the oil furnace, her cabin was warm again. I was ecstatic I could service her oil furnace so hastily, but she still insisted she had to provide myself and others a treat. Along with giving myself and others money, she handed myself and others an entire bin of candy she had left over from the trick or treating, plus told myself and others to share it with my kids. I thought i was going to be trick or treating with my kids, although I ended up working instead. I was ecstatic that I could help someone in need when it was needed.
