While waiting for our current oil furnace to arrive plus be installed, the people I was with and I were using the fireplace for heat, however for several mornings, the fireplace was working well plus keeping most of the apartment quite comfortable.
Every one of us went out for groceries 1 day plus the smell of smoke was overwhelming when the people I was with and I got home.
My partner thought he may have left the flue open, plus the smoke was coming back into the apartment instead of up the chimney. I didn’t care what the reason was for the smoke, however the people I was with and I had to get it out of the house. Every one of us had the exhaust fan on in the bathroom plus the living room. The windows were open, plus the people I was with and I had fans in locale to pull the smoke out. Unluckyly, along with the smoke, the heat was also being pulled out. It was getting so chilly that I was shivering, even with my jacket on. I had gloves on as I tried to put the groceries, which was next to impossible. I was shivering so uncontrollably that I went upstairs to get a warm shower plus throw on some warmer clothing. My partner had the smoke out of the house, plus the windows closed by the time I was done, plus it was once again warming up in the house. I knew the oil furnace was to be delivered plus installed within the next 48 hours, however it wasn’t soon enough as far as I was distraught. I was ready for the oil furnace to be installed when I first found out the people I was with and I needed a current 1, plus I was tired of waiting.
