Before heading out on a call, the secretary at the HVAC supplier will call the homeowner plus ask if they have any animals! They are told the animals need to be kenneled or put in another room while the HVAC serviceman was on the premises.
The client I was to work with was called, however she didn’t heed the advice, i wasn’t even in the door when her Rottweiler came running up.
I ended up falling off the threshold plus landed flat on my back on the porch. I could hear my tail bone crack, plus my ankle was twisted. The owner was looking at me love she thought I should jump up plus go to work, but I was afraid to move. The animal was standing on my chest plus her nose was less than an inch from mine. I was afraid to talk. The owner reached her hand out to help me up plus shooed the animal back inside, but when she asked if I was okay, I realized it had knocked the wind out of me. I could barely walk, plus she apologized… She called the HVAC supplier plus said her animal had jumped on me plus knocked me down. She said she was going to call an ambulance, but I said I could drive there if necessary. When I couldn’t put weight on my ankle, she told the HVAC supplier to send another tech to the house, plus to bring the repair van back. It was her fault the HVAC serviceman was destructiond, plus she was taking me to the hospital.
