Our neighbors are just so weird.

They are always trying to copy everything that we do at our house and it drives me crazy.

Back when I was a kid my mom always told me that people who copied you really just want to be you. It’s always supposed to be like a sincere form of flattery or something like that, but I really don’t like it. I find it annoying when I go out of my way to do something on my own or buy something that is unique, and then someone else just steals it and copies my idea. It is even worse, in my opinion, when they pretend like it was their own idea in the first place! That makes me so mad! Just recently, I started to notice that our neighbors who live across the street have started to copy the things that we do over here in our house. At first, it was nothing major. They put in the same kind of plants by their mailbox that we had put in next to ours. But then it got weirder. They bought the same kind of car that we had! Then they painted their front door the same color as ours. When we got our new heating and cooling system installed by a local HVAC company, they called up the same HVAC Company and asked what kind we had purchased! Then they ordered the very same one. I just found out that they also had a new smart thermostat like ours installed in their house too. It’s weird and it’s just a little bit scary to have neighbors like these!

My husband tells me that I keep spoiling the dog too much.

However, I am not a person who thinks that you can actually spoil a dog or a baby.

I think that animals and babies are magical creatures who cannot be spoiled. However, my husband does not think that way at all. He is constantly bugging me about the fact that I take too much time with our dog. We are empty nesters now, though, and so now I don’t have a child to take care of or spoil. My dog has taken the place of my last child who went to college in the fall. It has definitely been one big adjustment for me, that is for sure. I am not really doing anything wrong when it comes to my dog if you ask me. My husband says that the way that I act about this dog is just ridiculous. He is mad because I called the local HVAC company to have them come and give me an estimate on a new ductless mini split heating and cooling system for the dog. I am just worried that the dog will get too hot or too cold out on the sun porch where she likes to go and sit sometimes. He told me that I was gonna blow all of our money on this . He thinks that she does not need her very own HVAC system, but I beg to differ. I do not want her to be too hot or too cold out there on the sun porch. He said if I’m worried about it then I should just make her come inside.

 

Heating system

My brother told me that he wants to open up a commercial HVAC business this year.

He has been planning it for a while now, and I think that this time, he’s really going to go through with it.

My brother hasn’t always been the dependable guy. Back when we were growing up, I am pretty sure that my parents thought that he wasn’t really going to amount to much. He was always doing crazy things and he would never get his schoolwork done at school or his chores done around the house. In other words, he was kind of flaky back then. None of us really knew what he was going to end up doing with his life. I think that some of his friends probably thought he was gonna end up in jail or something. I never really thought that, but I did not really think that he would ever become much of a success. However, he has been doing so great since he went to our local technical school. He earned his HVAC certification a few years ago, and he is doing really well at the HVAC company where he has been working. He told me the other day that he has learned so much that he wants to start thinking about opening up his own business instead. I was really surprised when he told me that, but the way that things are going for him recently, I think that he would probably be able to make a go of it. If he opens his own commercial HVAC company, then he will definitely prove all of us wrong!

New contractor

We really want to move to a more energy efficient home at some point this year.

I have been thinking about moving for a long time, and I finally got my husband on board with the idea just recently.

I think that it’s probably because of the fact that our heating and cooling bills have been so high for the past few months. He is sick and tired of having to pay so much money to keep our home heated and cooled and I can’t say that I blame him, either! It’s been really annoying over the past few months because our heating and cooling bills have really shot way up. We have a lot of other things that we need to pay for, and extra heating and cooling is definitely not one of them. When I told him that I wanted to start looking for a more energy efficient home with a heat pump and a high efficiency air conditioning system, this was the first time that he didn’t just roll his eyes at me. He actually agreed with me at that point and he said that if we didn’t find a new home to move into soon, then we would definitely be looking for a new heating and cooling system for the house that we are living in! Either way, I think that we should do something soon. It’s getting to be ridiculous around here if you ask me. I think that we should probably just go ahead and start looking for a new house since we are going to be outgrowing this one pretty soon anyway. We have twins due in a couple of months, so saving money is really important right now!
