Your HVAC Troubleshooting Guys

Before heading out on a call, the secretary at the HVAC company will call the homeowner and ask if they have any animals.

They are told the animals need to be kenneled or put in another room while the HVAC technician was on the premises.

The customer I was to work with was called, but he didn’t heed the advice. I wasn’t even in the door when his Rottweiler came running up. I ended up falling off the threshold and landed flat on my back on the porch. I could hear my tail bone crack, and my ankle was twisted. The owner was looking at me like he thought I should jump up and go to work, but I was afraid to move. The dog was standing on my chest and his nose was less than an inch from mine. I was afraid to talk. The owner reached his hand out to help me up and shooed the dog back inside. When he asked if I was okay, I realized it had knocked the wind out of me. I could barely walk, and he apologized. He called the HVAC company and said his dog had jumped on me and knocked me down. He said he was going to call an ambulance, but I said I could drive there if necessary. When I couldn’t put weight on my ankle, he told the HVAC company to send another tech to the house, and to bring the service van back. It was his fault the HVAC technician was injured, and he was taking me to the hospital.

There are some monks who live a truly quiet and peaceful life, and then you have some people who are so tied up they hardly have time to think.

I like to do a blend of both and have periods of company followed by times of relaxation and quiet.

I have the luxury of this because I have no teenagers and not a lot of toys to take care of. The only downer lately is that I blew a bunch of money that would have made it a lot easier for me to get by. My dad was a heating supplier and made a enjoyable amount of money doing Heating and Air Conditioning sales and just gave us all $100K each from his will. I got the bright system to drop it into cryptos, after just losing over more than nine grand on them, and after that I lost all of it too like a fool. He worked so tough to make that money with all of the air conditioning system and heating system repairs, and after that I turned around and threw it all away. It is basically like a gambling addiction and if I get more money down the road I am going to just drop it in the bank. The local company where I work was asking me before I blew it if I wanted to invest it in their Heating and Air Conditioning corporation, which I should have done, but no I was impatient and stupid and threw it all into something that I was sure was going to explode. Oh well, I think there is something to learn from this but I don’t see it yet.

That is the life of our friend, who has a house worth 2 and a half million bucks, and a ton of stuff going on in his life.

I wonder why some people fill their lives with so much business, while others like me keep it truly easy and easy.

I don’t know if they are trying to fill a void or if they are doing what I should be doing, but I just don’t have the energy anymore to do all of that tied up work, however i have just enough energy to work at the local company doing smart control unit sales and some heat pump work, but that is about the extent of our workweek, however maybe I should have had teenagers and after that I would know what it is all about. Maybe I am missing out on something that is actually special, but I am 55 now and too outdated for teenagers. My heating corp boss has a few teenagers and always seems to be tied up out about them in one way or another. I think it depends on what kind of a kid you have, or how you have raised them, but I think I will never know what having teenagers feels like. This could be enjoyable or poor news. My teenagers are our HVAC duct cleaning tasks and the Heating and Air Conditioning repairs that I have to do each week. My other kid is our musical job and our volleyball teaching work I do each week, those are the teenagers that keep me busy. I do like to work in the heating and cooling field though.
