My dad didn’t think I could make it as an HVAC technician.

I was a screw-up the entire time I was in high school, and my father just shook his head.

He had no idea how I was going to get good grades and graduate, since he picked me up from the office, more often than he picked me up at the bus stops.

I told him I would grow up one day, and he would laugh and tousle my hair, but I was sure he didn’t believe it. After graduation, I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do with my life, but I was sure I didn’t want to go to college. My dad told me I had to find a job. I found a job at a local HVAC company that was hiring someone to clean for them. I didn’t mind going in after hours, or before hours. I enjoyed taking care of the cleaning and helping out with inventory. Every so often, one of the HVAC technicians would be working overtime, and I would get the chance to talk to them. I loved listening to their stories and hearing how they worked on the HVAC systems. I was talking to one HVAC technician who asked if I was interested in becoming an HVAC technician? I hadn’t thought about being an HVAC technician, but I loved working in the company. After he put the thought in my head, I started thinking about it. I talked to my father, and although he didn’t think I could make it as an HVAC technician, he was willing to help me get into school.

Three HVAC technicians for one furnace?

I called to have service done on my furnace.

They asked if it would be okay if the HVAC technician brought a new technician with him.

He was a mentor for new HVAC technicians and he tried to have them do as many services as possible before they became full-fledged HVAC technicians. I agreed to allow the HVAC technicians to bring his students, and set up the appointment. When the HVAC technician arrived, he had two young men and one young woman with him. He apologized, but said these were students from the local HVAC technicians school where he had been teaching. They needed technical training and this week, they were learning how to do servicing. I nodded, but I had a lot of comments trying to come out. I found it amusing that they needed three HVAC technicians for one furnace, and that didn’t include their instructor. The first person to lay their hands on my furnace, was one of the young men, and the second young man was next. They found nothing wrong. When the young woman started looking at the furnace, she said something about a wire that looked a little ‘burnt’. The instructor was pleased with her observation. He said that one wire could have caused the furnace to break down. When he asked why the guys didn’t notice, all I heard was some mumbling. The girl was all smiles when they came upstairs, but the guys were upset. The HVAC technician thanked me and walked out without giving me a bill. He thanked me for allowing them to use my furnace as a class project.

Knee Deep in HVAC Equipment and HVAC System Writing Work

I’m in the heart of my workday right now and I’ll tell you one thing, it really isn’t that bad at all.

I’m just tapping my fingers on a keyboard for a little while and then I am done.

It sure beats other jobs such as a lumberjack, where you are outside all day doing dangerous and taxing work that is also dangerous and very loud. I could be out in the cold right now, in some forest loaded with trees, cutting them down for the sole purpose of making money. I wouldn’t feel good about that, and HVAC equipment writing work is also much easier on my lower back! I never liked the idea of cutting down trees, and I even told my cousin that if she chops down the big live oak tree in her back yard that I would never talk to her again. She wanted to cut it down and use it for wood for her fireplace, but the tree is home to a ton of wildlife and it also offers shade and aesthetic beauty. I don’t think she can see beauty that well right now as her mind is too clogged up with thoughts and worries. I told her to just use her electric furnace to keep the house warm and leave that tree alone. I bet when I go home in a few weeks and visit her I won’t be seeing that tree anymore. Her dad is a local contractor and he told her the same thing; that he wouldn’t speak to her if she cut it down.

3pm I Need to be Out of the Flat and Back in the Sand

3pm is my cutoff time for working today, so I am going to have to really focus and keep pushing if I want to make that deadline as I still have quite a bit of work to do.

I think I could knock out my writing work in another hour and then I have to do some HVAC equipment cleaning for a little while.

I should be able to do all of this in about two hours or so and then I need to sneak in a little yoga session before I go to the beach. It is still quite cold out there and I think that 3pm is probably the warmest time of the day now, seeing that it is winter and the sun now sets at 5:25pm. I see a lot of smoke from chimneys, and I smell the lovely scent of burning pine or maple, telling me that people are staying all cozy and comfy in their homes with their fireplaces. I would like to get one myself but I don’t like the idea of having to haul wood into the house all of the time. There is also a lot of cleaning involved with a wood burning fireplace, so I think I may opt for the cleaner version with a nice gas fireplace. I need to check on prices for them to see if it is my range right now, as I am a bit lean when it comes to the money tree. Maybe the heating dealer where I work can give me a few more hours.
