That night, something malfunctioned in the oil furnace and it caused a condo fire, and both of us lost everything, however most people was safe. Mom and dad were upset, and I kept saying the fire was my fault, and dad told me there was nothing I could have done to start the fire, although I had been the 1 who was playing with the oil furnace before they got new home from work. When the insurance adjuster came to the house, he said the fire was caused by an electrical glitch. Both of us were fortunate most people was awake, because the fire spread so quickly. I started crying when they said it was electrical, and now I was sure I had started the fire. I told dad what I had been doing and he told me it had nothing to do with me. He was concerned that I was playing with the oil furnace, but he didn’t think it had anything to do with the fire. I told him a wire came off in my hand. Dad told me the insurance adjuster said the fire started in the play room and not in the oil furnace room. I was thankful dad was trying to make me suppose better, although I was still convinced the fire was my fault.

I called to have repair done on my oil furnace, but they asked if it would be okay if the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C specialist brought a new specialist with him, then he was a professor for new Heating, Ventilation, and A/C specialists and he tried to have them do as several services as possible before they became full-fledged Heating, Ventilation, and A/C specialists; I agreed to allow the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C specialists to bring his students, and set up the appointment… When the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C specialist arrived, he had numerous young men and 1 young person with him.

• He apologized, however said these were students from the local Heating, Ventilation, and A/C specialists school where he had been teaching.

They needed technical training and this week, they were studying how to do servicing. I nodded, although I had a lot of comments trying to come out. I found it amusing that they needed several Heating, Ventilation, and A/C specialists for 1 oil furnace, and that didn’t include their professor. The first person to lay their hands on my oil furnace, was 1 of the young men, and the hour young man was next. They found nothing wrong. When the young person started looking at the oil furnace, she said something about a wire that looked a little ‘burnt’. The professor was gratified with her observation. He said that 1 wire could have caused the oil furnace to cut down. When he asked why the men didn’t notice, all I heard was some mumbling. The girl was all smiles when they came upstairs, however the men were upset. The Heating, Ventilation, and A/C specialist thanked me and walked out without giving me a bill. He thanked me for allowing them to use my oil furnace as a class project.
