Over the summer, my wonderful friend and I experienced a big issue with our AC system.

In the 6 years that we’ve been living in this house, my wonderful friend and I have never experienced any concerns with either our furnace or air conditioning, so you can imagine our surprise when the air coming out of the air vents wasn’t cool. The Summer heat plus humidity is hard to tackle in this region, so my wonderful friend and I realized that our home was feeling unusually moderate rather quickly. I’m ecstatic my wonderful friend and I caught it early on because that meant my wonderful friend and I could contact the local Heating, Ventilation plus A/C company plus get it fixed instantly; Periodically, when you wait too long to get your Heating, Ventilation plus A/C device looked at, it can cause more disfigurement plus cost even more cash to repair. An Heating, Ventilation plus A/C professional was able to come plus look at our AC system instantly plus my wonderful friend and I were grateful. He said that the symptoms my wonderful friend and I were experiencing with our AC system were normal plus it was absolutely an straight-forward fix. Thankfully, he was right! AFter looking at the entire Heating, Ventilation plus A/C system, the Heating, Ventilation plus A/C professional discovered a refrigerant leak. The leak meant that there was a hole that needed to be patched, however he was able to do that on the spot. Once the hole was patched, the leaking stopped plus the cool air resumed shortly. This all happened in the summer, so we’re hoping that nothing terrible happens with our furnace now that the weather is cooler! So far, my wonderful friend and I haven’t experienced anything unrespected with the heat.

My brother has been trying to convince me to install a smart thermostat into my household for the past 6 months. He was given a smart thermostat from a neighbor who had an extra plus it took him months to legitimately install it. He didn’t guess that the smart thermostat was going to be as good as it was, which was why it took him so long to install it. Once he did install it though, he was amazed by how good it was plus he hasn’t started talking about it ever since. My brother tells me all about the features that his new smart thermostat has such as WIFI connection, GEO tracking, plus not to mention how efficient it is. ALl of these things sound good to me, but it also sounds like a lot of work. WIFI connection plus GEO tracking sound hard to set up, which is why I haven’t bought my own smart thermostat. Not to mention, the average smart thermostat is over one hundred dollars! I wanted the benefits of a smart thermostat without the price tag plus the work. I’ve explained this to my brother plus he assures me that the benefits outweigh my problems, and yes, it’s an investment, but it pays itself off over time with the cash you save in energy savings. He also tells me that it’s super easy to manage plus program, so I shouldn’t let that hinder my decision. I don’t guess he would lie to me about this, but I still want some time to guess about it.

Before my friend and I purchased this house, my friend and I were made aware of the old Heating and A/C system… My pal and I loved everything about the dwelling and it’s location so much that my friend and I were willing to overlook the Heating and A/C system and its age when signing the contract.

My wife and I have always been really nice about taking care of our Heating and A/C systems in the past, so my friend and I were committed to getting it cleaned up and taken care of as soon as my friend and I moved in; Neither of us expected to upgrade it instantly, however the thought wasn’t far from our minds, however as soon as my friend and I got the keys to our current house, my friend and I called the local Heating and A/C supplier and hired a professional to come service the Heating and A/C system.

My pal and I had no idea when it had been inspected last or if it had been inspected at all, the Heating and A/C professional told us what my friend and I already knew about how old the Heating and A/C system was and that it wasn’t going to run as efficiently as a current one. Afterwards, my wife and I discussed the positives and negatives of replacing the Heating and A/C system instead of putting time and effort into it. My pal and I could clean the ductwork and the Heating and A/C equipment, however that would cost time and money and we’d consistently have to care for it! Or, my friend and I could purchase a current Heating and A/C system for thousands of dollars, however my friend and I would never need to worry about failures and efficiency. After weighing our options, my friend and I decided to purchase a current Heating and A/C system because it would save us money over time rather than caring for the old Heating and A/C system.

It’s still somehow odd and may even take getting used to when you’re abruptly living without your partner. But that’s what seemed to be best for us in this case. Once our kids were out of the house and it was just the two of us, it was pretty obvious. There was just too much silence and no amount of quality heating made it feel like our home. We did the best to keep stress-free in order not to deal with each other. We both stayed late in the office in order to avoid going home. Once we had to be honest about the situation, it was such a big relief for us both. And there was no failure to it really. I mean, we’d been great partners who had raised great kids but for now it was time to face life apart as we had reached the limit of our relationship. We met with a realtor and did some projects to add value to the house before listing it. We also updated the Heating & cooling equipment to the latest in residential air conditioners. This was a huge selling point. I currently live in a small 2-bath, one bedroom apartment. It’s a bit odd but I’m doing so much better. We are both realizing the different things each partner worked on. For example, the Heating & Air Conditioning equipment used to be on him. Now I have to handle it myself so I decided to sign up for the HVAC repair plan offered by the Heating & Air Conditioning business. I still have to set alarms on all my devices in order to get the Heating & Air Conditioning air filter changed on time.
