Your HVAC Troubleshooting Guys

The new HVAC technician that I have been hiring is very handsome, and I honestly have no idea what to do with that information.

I don’t think that I have ever seen a handsome HVAC technician before.

That doesn’t mean that being an HVAC technician is for ugly people, but I just haven’t seen one. I am a single girl, and I have been living alone for a while. I have a good career, and if I am ever going to get into a relationship, it will definitely have to be with the right person. Recently, when my furnace stopped working, I had to call the HVAC company. Normally, there is an older guy that comes to my house to fix my furnace, but apparently, that HVAC technician was not available today, so they told me that they were going to send one of the younger HVAC technicians. I figured that it was going to be bad. Normally, younger people are pretty obviously creepy when they come to my house alone. I was prepared for the worst. However, when the HVAC technician knocked on my door, I was blown away to see how handsome the HVAC technician was. Now, being handsome doesn’t make you less creepy. The HVAC technician was also very professional, and he didn’t do anything that seemed out of line. Now, I am wondering about that HVAC technician. I don’t know if he is married, dating, or single. I don’t know if the HVAC technician is even interested. He acted professionally, but I don’t know if that is due to his job or the fact that he doesn’t find me attractive. How do I get the attention of this HVAC technician?

The first job I needed done on the house at the start of spring was a roof repair.

Over winter, I’d noticed there were leaks, and this wasn’t a good sign.

So, I contracted our local roofing company about this issue and booked them for spring repair. It’s better to call early so you can be among the first people once the snow and ice thaws. The roofer had several people in front of me, so I had to wait until mid-spring. By this time, the leak was getting worse since it was raining so much. It was also unusually warm for spring, which was also concerning. So, I called a local HVAC company to book for spring maintenance. The roofers came first to inspect and repair my leaking roof. I was away from the house when they arrived, but they had easy access. When I got back, the roofers mentioned there was a beehive near the outdoor HVAC. They were passing near the cooling unit and had to run for dear life. Well, that was concerning since I was having a HVAC expert come to inspect the same outdoor HVAC the next day. I had to think fast on how to remove the beehive. I chose to call the HVAC company and move my appointment to a few days later. I explained there was a beehive near the outdoor HVAC and I had to hire bee removal services. The HVAC company representative was understanding and said she’d keep a slot open for me when I was ready for the HVAC expert to come to my home. Thankfully, the roofers had discovered the hive near the outdoor HVAC early.

My partner and I were still settling into our new house when it started getting warmer.

Our plan had been to unpack, arrange the house, and then we’d begin repairs.

There were many things we wanted to improve in the house. We’d consulted with a general contractor about all the work. Her suggestion was to get the house done first, then we’d move in. Unfortunately, that wasn’t possible for us. Our lease was up in our previous home, and we didn’t want to rent a place for a month or two. We’d rather deal with workers in the house doing the upgrades. The contractor understood our predicament, and she promised to find ways to make the experience good for us. We also wanted a new HVAC system installed in the house. There was an HVAC system when we purchased the house that was holding on for dear life. So, we planned to replace it by June when it gets quite hot. However, May surprised all of us by being warmer than usual. We found ourselves dealing with 80F weather in the middle of May. so, we chose to move forward with the HVAC installation. So, both the general contractor and the HVAC professional were in our home. It was chaotic, to say the least. And we wished we had another place to stay as the work was ongoing, but we were also grateful it would soon be over. The biggest thing was buying the house, and finding reliable companies to hire. Soon, we would be living in a lovely house with excellent AC.

My uncle and I always love going fishing together, especially during the summertime. When I was young, I lost my dad, and uncle Jim has been a key part of my life. He is my mom’s older brother, and my favorite human. Uncle Jim made sure we were fine from then on, and mom even works for her HVAC business. He always promised I’d remember my dad, but he was always there if I needed him. We’d do the things I liked like makeup and tea parties. But, he also showed me how to fish, replace a car tire, and so much more. Even now that I’m an adult, I am still his daughter, and he is always there for me. Uncle Jim never married or had a family of his own. His HVAC business was and is his all, except for mom and I. He really wanted me to take an interest in the HVAC business and asked if I wanted to go to HVAC school. My passion has always been fashion, but I took the HVAC course as my main career. I work at his HVAC business during working hours, then record for my Vlog during my free time. Perhaps one day I might turn my passion into my career, but for now, I earn a living as a HVAC technician. Last summer, Uncle Jim and I went to his cabin to check it out and fish at a nearby lake. Uncle Jim wanted to install a ductless AC in the cabin because he was going to start renting it out. Folks had been asking about renting the cabin so they could hike and fish in the area. So, mom convinced him it was an excellent business idea.
