I was thinking the other day about how much I miss my old gas furnace.

• I had that thing for 2 decades and just recently replaced it with a modern and very up to date brand new central heating and air conditioning system.

The old gas furnace had finally seen its day. But what I miss most about it is going down the basement and seeing that awesome looking blue flame at the bottom of it. It reminded me of my childhood growing up with the gas furnace we had back when. It was the same style and all. It was also cheaper to run. But the downside to the old gas furnace was that it required an extra heating and air conditioning service bill. Now with having a brand new and up to date central heating and air conditioning system I can get all my heat and a/c needs taken care of in one simple HVAC tune up visit. Also if anything ever goes wrong with the heating or the air conditioning it would be the same repair price for each since it is the same system controlling and pumping both. If one breaks, the other is broken as well. It is just a much better all around set up for heating and cooling my home. But that does not mean I do not miss the old gas furnace. There was nothing like it and there will never be anything like it ever again. The long gone days. Maybe I will buy a gas fireplace. That way I can get the blue flame back! That’s a great idea.

I had a major computer crash not too long ago.

• And the cause of it was something I would have never imagined.

It was the program/app that controls my smart thermostat! This caused my computer to crash because I did not know that the smart thermostat app required a more up to date computer. I have an older computer that simply could not handle the technology that the smart thermostat app for my central heating and air conditioning system has. If I had read the manual more close I would have known that. But because I didn’t the smart thermostat app caused my computer to crash and also cost me a few hundred bucks to have a computer tech come and rescue the computer to make it operational again. So i want to tell everyone that if you have an old computer, do not put the program and app for the smart thermostat on it. Put that smart thermostat app on your phone only or an up to date laptop. If you have a new computer it may be ok, but just read the instruction manual about the smart thermostat because that will tell you if your regular computer could handle it or not. In the future I must read more carefully and not be in such a rush to get things going. Had I done that in the first place I would have saved myself a few hundred bucks on computer repair. I’m just happy that everything was able to be rescued and fixed!

I feel so lucky that when I bought my new central heating and air conditioning system I got a three hundred dollar mail in rebate with it.

This was not something that you see all the time.

This was also one of the main reasons I chose the brand of central heating and air conditioning system that I did. It was to try to get more people to buy their heating and cooling systems. And I can tell you that it is not a trick to get you to buy some bad heat and a/c brand. This central heating and air conditioning system is possibly the best modern heat and a/c unit today in my opinion. It really is ultra powerful and heat and cools my home really great. My old central heating and air conditioning system was never this good or this powerful, and that was a major HVAC brand while this heating and air conditioning system is one of the lesser known heat and a/c brands. Sometimes it takes more than a name to give you quality. But like I said and i’ll admit, what even got me to buy this brand of central heating and air conditioning systems was the three hundred dollar rebate that they are offering. I actually got my rebate check in the mail the other day so it is no lie. This is a great promotion. I mean who doesn’t want an extra few hundred bucks in their pocket? Especially with the cost of living today. I am so glad I got the rebate and the central heating and air conditioning system!

I made the big mistake of buying used portable heating and air conditioning equipment online trying to save a few bucks.

This was something I should have never done.

The portable air conditioning system that I bought worked for a whole 2 days before it was broke and not working anymore. The portable space heater that I bought which was used had some funny smell coming out of it when I turned it on, so I right away shut it off. Both the portable air conditioning system and the portable space heater were demanded refunds and then returned. I do not know what possessed me to buy portable heating and air conditioning equipment that was used online. I thought that since I have bought other used things that worked out great and saved me tons of money I could do the same with portable air conditioning systems and portable space heaters. But I guess not. It is just better, safer and less hassle to spend the full amount and go buy them in a store brand new. If you are looking to save money, wait till there is a sale on portable space heaters and portable air conditioning systems. This happens from time to time everywhere. You just need to keep your eye out to your local TV commercials and local newspapers if you still get a physical papers. If not, read the paper online and you can look for store ads that may have portable air conditioning systems and portable space heaters on sale.
