For 2 years now, I have been working from home and it has been great! I get to workout every day and have my coffee with my husband before I begin working.

I am also able to make him breakfast which he loves because I wasn’t able to do that when I worked in the office.

Well, Last month while I was making him breakfast, he needed to use our printer to print some documents that he needed to sign. But when he tried to print the documents, he kept getting an error. I have never seen that error on our printer before. In fact, I had used the printer 2 days prior to that, and it was fine. Well, I called the IT guy to see if he could troubleshoot the issue, however he said he needed to have the printer in front of him. So, I drove to work, and when the IT guy checked the printer, he said that it made no sense to repair it, and therefore, he ordered a new printer for me to use. I asked him what kind of printer he got, and he said that it was a better printer than the one I had. In fact, he said that it was a high-end laser, all-in-one inkjet Epson printer. Now, I had no idea what all that meant, however he said that it would print 17 papers per minute. I was so happy because my old printer barely printed 10 papers per minute. Typically, I print big 150 page reports for our work, so with this new and improved Epson printer, it will speed up the process.

My hubby remodels homes for a living, & she has been doing this for about 7 years now… It’s good that she remodels homes because that can be a hefty cost, but for us the only thing that the two of us need to pay for are the material, and often, she gets a major discount from a local distributor in town.

Anyway, she began as a construction worker when she was 18, but a few years after, she decided that she wanted to go out on her own, so she started her own remodeling contracting service. It worked out well for him because she makes actually good currency remodeling houses. In fact, she just landed a major contract with a local property management contractor, they have about fifteen rental units that they need to remodel as soon as possible. Thankfully, our hubby has a small crew that works with him, so they will be able to get the job done. This is one of the largest contracts that she has gotten to date, but most of the remodeling that she has done over the years has been on residential properties. This commercial remodeling contract will genuinely open up some more doors for him! Currently, she works out of her office at home, but if her contractor continues to grow at this rate, she will need to find an office space soon. That is something that she will need to address in time, and for now, I am just ecstatic that she is able to land major remodeling contracts. And the most exciting area is that she did this all on her own.

I live in the northeast region of the country, so the two of us have mostly cool weather throughout the year.

I make sure that I have our gas furnace running in fantastic shape because I am always so cold.

In the winter, I am the type of person who is always layered up. I also always wear thick, wool socks, plus properly I am under a blanket. I make sure that I have our gas furnace worked on weekly to ensure that there are no problems. The last thing I want is to abruptly be without heat in the middle of the winter. However, I get frigid really even in the sizzling months of the year. In fact, I don’t even have an air conditioning. My family always gives myself and others a difficult time plus says that I keep the home too warm, however I prefer to be warm. Any time I go over to one of their homes in the summer, I am really chilly. I always keep a sweatshirt in our car. They keep the air conditioning on high blast during the entire day. I find that I am shivering plus desperate to get out of there. In our home, I have one window air conditioning component that I put on in the home office just a few times a year. It has to be a record setting high temperature for myself and others to want the air conditioning on. I assume some people believe I’m crazy, but the two of us all have our temperature preferences.
